Mitt Romney has seized on President Barack Obama's statement that he 'can't change Washington from the inside by telling him: 'He can only change it from outside? Well, we're going to give him a chance in November. He's going outside!'
Speaking at a rally in Sarasota, Florida, Romney reacted swiftly to Obama's comment in a Univision television forum: 'The most important lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t change Washington from the inside. You can only change it from the outside.'

This is a gaffe of monumental proportions. Ten times worse than anything Romney has been accused of.
This is him essentially admitting “this job is above my pay grade and beyond my capabilities”. Romney need to hammer this from now until election, that combined with Obama giving himself an “incomplete”, paints a picture of a man way in over his head.

For the life of me I can't figure out how or why Obama could buck ALL the trends from the past 70 years and be re-elected with a record like his. Americans have always voted their pocketbook, so why would this time be any different? The media has been trying to sell this line, with their veiled "The election is over" talk, but I'm not buying it.
