FRANCE BANS ALL MUSLIM PROTESTS
French interior minister Manuel Valls just confirmed that no protests would be allowed over the Mohammed cartoons, according to Reuters.
"There will be strictly no exceptions. Demonstrations will be banned and broken up," he said.
Think that'll pacify the 10 percent of France who are Muslims?
France has already closed 20 embassies around the world in fear of backlash. Too bad it cannot outlaw protests in these countries.

I wonder how many will die now?
Ban the Muslims instead.
I am glad they allowed the cartoons
“”There will be strictly no exceptions. Demonstrations will be banned and broken up,” he said. “
I wonder if that includes screwing up roads while they take their prayer time to the streets.
“Think that’ll pacify the 10 percent of France who are Muslims?”
That sentence stood out to me, also. Seems to be a jump from the 5% that had been advertised for the past 20 years.
France well find their options become more and more limited as that number increases.
How many vehicles will the french moosies torch over this B.S.?
Wow for the 1st time the world can actually say France has more “balls” than the United States.
We need to be more like France.
It certainly doesn’t solve any preoblems , but it is a step in the right direction. The French are starting to admit they have a problem and recognize it.
Muslim immigration should be halted,in all countries just as immigrants with the black plague are not allowed in countries for the safety of the native population.
When people come into a country with the fully acknowledged idea that they are going to change that country their own idea of a backward culture they should not be allowed in.
Sorry to say this.
You all be careful what you wish for. If the U. S. Govt can “ban all Muslim protests,” they can also shut us down. Free speech is free speech.
For both sides.
The coming European blood bath is inevitable.
It feels like we are in the twilight zone. The french are showing courage and the USA left its ambassador to die. What’s next, flying pigs?
ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Demonstrators clashed with police in the Pakistani city of Peshawar on Friday as anger over insults to the Prophet Mohammad boiled over despite calls from political and religious leaders across the Muslim world for peaceful protest.
(Is a Muslim Day Of Love a day for killing?)
Bon. Laisser la merde frappé le ventilateur électrique.
Could it be that the French have “had enough” of dealing with their Muslims?
Although I'm only about eight miles from the 1699 Capitol of all the French Territories of Louisiana, I still can't understand that.
But also remember, free speech DOES NOT including the right to scream FIRE in a crowded theater when there is NO FIRE.
This is more of public safety issue.
Europe has a very deep history of no-nonsense xenophobia and mass expulsions and slaughter on a scale inconceivable to most Americans. We saw but a foretaste of what is to come in the various "ethnic cleansing" episodes of the 1990s.
Those who assume Europe will quietly become Eurabia are missing the mark. Europe may go (mainly due to demographics), but it will not go quietly.
Right, and now with their socialist marshmallow in office, it’s hard to believe.
Not at all. They just voted in a pro-muslim socialist and dumped his ineffective anti-muslim predecessor. Both are into giving lip service to anti-muslim sentiment, but the new guy has already allowed the airport to be retaken by the muslims. France has already lost the war, the only question is when the Muzzies will claim their victory.
I think it says to let the poop hit the fan.
Let the SHTF.
I wonder if France has a “posse commitatus” law against using the Foreign Legion inside French territory?
The wearers of `le kepi blanc’ would make mincemeat of the muzzie mobs blocking Paris streets.
Better idea - tax the protests at 75%
My vote would be to surround them and simply let the muslims burn themselves out, literally.
its coming to that
The difference between their socialist marshmallow and ours is.. theirs openly states his disdain for wealthy people. Ours just talks around it.
An applicable court case.
NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY v. SKOKIE, 432 U.S. 43 (1977)
Public safety issue? That’s a slippery slope... one day you could be told to wear a Burka for your own safety.
“Public safety issue? Thats a slippery slope... one day you could be told to wear a Burka for your own safety.”
Got to remember the differences between the Muslim protests and any non-Muslim protests, at least the latter WOULD NOT THREATEN VIOLENCE.
Well maybe. But I thought our guy was being pretty overt going after ‘wealthy’ people.
Of course you know, Democrats think anyone with a job is RICH.
Personally, I like wealthy people, even though I will never be one.
As long as those guys are around, I will have a job.
“I wonder how many will die now?”
Yes, but turning attention to France will give Hussein “more flexibility” until after the election.
I’ve been saying for a while now that I expect I will see concentration camps in Europe within my lifetime. The only question is, Who will be running them?
I am not at all happy to be making this prediction.
Same logic as gun-free zones. “Guns are now illegal! There are no guns! So there is no crime!”
Now it’s “Muslim protests are now illegal! There are no Muslim protests! So there will be no riots!”
Leftist logic - it’s to die for.
Good for the French, and good luck to them.
I concur; see my previous post.
What is scary is Liberal Socialist France seems to be more honest about Islam than our own politicians and media....even some of our GOP politicians and media
Islam is the Problem
This is more of public safety issue.
Look at what we got the last time we agreed to limit our Constitutional rights for a "public safety" issue: The Department of Homeland Security and the TSA.
You have a point.
Anyway, talk is cheap. We’ll see how this turns out.
I think that we should not throw the baby out with the bathwater. Peaceful right of assembly to protest a grievance shouldn’t be illegal regardless of religion.
I’m all for riot batons, rubber bullets, and tear gas at the first sign of trouble, better safe than sorry. Better still, permits with a known number of protesters so that the police can plan ahead, and have legal justifications for arresting offenders who show up unannounced.
But I don’t think that any nation should pick and choose who has the right to be heard. I’m not a fan of slippery slope arguments, but...
Where, oh where, is the American backlash for this? I don’t see nearly the outrage I would have expected from something as horrific as what has been going on, but all I hear mostly is crickets.
Have we been so beaten down that we can no longer stand up straight and fight back?
And another one.
We are well aware that the ordinary murmurings and objections of a hostile audience cannot be allowed to silence a speaker, and are also mindful of the possible danger of giving overzealous police officials complete discretion to break up otherwise lawful public meetings. “A State may not unduly suppress free communication of views, religious or other, under the guise of conserving desirable conditions.” Cantwell v. Connecticut, supra, at [340 U.S. 315, 321] 308. But we are not faced here with such a situation. It is one thing to say that the police cannot be used as an instrument for the suppression of unpopular views, and another to say that, when as here the speaker passes the bounds of argument or persuasion and undertakes incitement to riot, they are powerless to prevent a breach of the peace. Nor in this case can we condemn the considered judgment of three New York courts approving the means which the police, faced with a crisis, used in the exercise of their power and duty to preserve peace and order. The findings of the state courts as to the existing situation and the imminence of greater disorder coupled with petitioner’s deliberate defiance of the police officers convince us that we should not reverse this conviction in the name of free speech.
True, throughout European history there has been expulsions and mass xenophobia....I have German relatives who were expelled from Czechoslovakia right after WW II....in fact there were 10 million ethnic Germans deported from various European nations after WW II (you hear little discussion about this)
France is rising up to extreme Islam...and we see the rumblings in the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway, and other European nations
Yes, the Euros will not go down without a fight
Maybe they could chase them off using a bunch of French maids - or .50 cal....I'm easy.
