An alarming data point from the minority side of the Senate Budget Committee: More Americans are being added to food stamps than are finding jobs. The data is detailed in this chart, provided by the committee:
As the chart shows, between April-June 2012 (the most recent three month block for which government data is available), only 200,000 jobs have been created while 265,000 individuals have been added to the food stamp rolls. Additionally, in that time period, 246,000 workers were awarded disability.

Obama has truly earned the title of Food Stamp President.
That graphic needs to be in a Romney TV ad running on every major station every 15 minutes
I brought up these stats with my benchmark lib -
she flat out denied it was true.
There’s no educating or convincing these people. They just have to be marginalized.
That is why Romney should not be attacking the President but attacking the ideology and where is has failed anywhere in human history it has been tried.
My federal tax liability for this year will probably be in the area of $70K or so...more than most folks make. I am truly a 1%er and I’m darn proud of it. I pay my “fair share” and then some. Contrary to this butt hole in the WH, I built it myself too!!! I took the risks and it’s me and my reputation that is on the line. But the end is near, my FR friends. IF this clown manages to get re-elected, my tax liability for the next year is going to be $0.00. I will cash in the chips and be gone.
It is probably best to be sure, when using this to buttress a point, to explicitly state “More Americans added to food stamps than NET jobs created”
If you leave an opening like that for liberals, they will jump on it and go off on a different branch and hammer you about not having your facts right.
We understand the point, but they aren’t interested in understanding it.
“Theres no educating or convincing these people. They just have to be marginalized.”
They won’t believe it until the federal checks bounce. Then they will be like the Communist Party members in post-Soviet Russia. Infuriated, dazed and unable to get it.
They do not want to understand or admit the truth. The truth is inconvenient to them. The truth cuts off the gravy train and requires them to work.
You are right, the only successful tactic is to marginalize them. The question is how and how quickly can it be done? The democratic system will not work. Their vote trumps yours and they outbreed you and have a LOT more time on their hands than you do to further their agenda.
My benchmark lib isn’t getting gov’t checks,
but her primary motivating factor is “advocacy-based righteousness”,
ie, “I’m a good person because of the policies I support.”
Attacking the policies and showing how they are no good or harmful is a direct personal attack on this kind of lib.
Oh, and they aren’t “outbreeding” the Christian homeschooling community, guaranteed.
The “breeders” to which you refer have the expected lifespan of a mayfly with whooping cough.
Quick, where do I sign up for the free and easy life?
Well said. If there’s a second term for Baraq, the primary discussion on FR needs to be about whether to bolt or revolt.
One of those who assuages her conscience through the money of others?
To assail this person with facts is to threaten her self-assigned mantle of righteousness.
It is a horrible thing to realize that you’ve been lied to. Especially when you find you have been lying to yourself.
Perhaps on a live births per capita basis you may be correct about the home schoolers but I am doubtful. This however is just opinion.
As for overall live births per capita the facts do not support your assertion. These were the easy ones to find:
http://www.pewsocialtrends.org/2012/05/17/explaining-why-minority-births-now-outnumber-white-births/
http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/gnxp/2010/09/which-american-racial-group-has-the-lowest-fertility/
That number is going up next week as I plan to apply for food stamps.
“If theres a second term for Baraq, the primary discussion on FR needs to be about whether to bolt or revolt.”
For several years, I have been trying to get ready for either of those choices.
Those kind of people do the most destruction. Pol Pot was cut from that cloth. Sowell wrote an interesting book on the topic of such people seeking ‘cosmic justice’.
Read it...
Actually, I’d be hard pressed to name a book of Sowell’s I haven’t read... :)
