Gallup: 60% of Americans Don't Trust Mainstream Media

Gallup is out this morning with a new poll that contains a damning indictment of the mainstream media. 60% of Americans, an all-time high, do not trust the mass media to accurately or fairly report the news. Mind you, that isn't 60% of Republicans or conservatives, but Americans, of all political persuasions.

From Gallup:

The record distrust in the media, based on a survey conducted Sept. 6-9, 2012, also means that negativity toward the media is at an all-time high for a presidential election year. This reflects the continuation of a pattern in which negativity increases every election year compared with the year prior. The current gap between negative and positive views -- 20 percentage points -- is by far the highest Gallup has recorded since it began regularly asking the question in the 1990s. Trust in the media was much higher, and more positive than negative, in the years prior to 2004 -- as high as 72% when Gallup asked this question three times in the 1970s.

It’ll be a lot higher than that by the time this election is over.

Wow. This is even before the fiasco about “the video.”

Well, if the blatant lies and misdeeds by the Secretary of State, the UN Ambassador, and the President over the past few days don’t complete that consolidation of public opinion about the so-called “mainstream” media, then we have been dumbed down way too much to see through the fog of their advocacy for Obama.

“60% of Americans Don’t Trust Mainstream Media”

There might just be hope after all. Through I’m rather skeptical that 60% of Americans get their news from sources other than the MSM.

One further thought! Scott Rasmussen would do well to stick to his polling, try to keep it honest, and avoid such comprehensive analysis!

It’s the other 40% I’m worried about.

ABSOLUTE PURE BS!!!!

60% of Americans say they don’t trust the MSM, because it makes them sound cynical, which their tiny brains equate with intellect and knowledge.

Those same 60% will spit on Jesus if Katie Couric tells them to, and they will vote for ANYBODY that Katie tells them to.

No, that sounds about right. Bear in mind that this is likely made up of 40% (our side) who thinks the media slants left, and 20% (their side) who think the media slants right.

Don't think much of ordinary Americans, do you?

Actually, it's highly unlikely that Katie Couric can affect the views of more than 1.5-2.0% of the TV audience -- since that's the extent of her audience.

Well, well, well, lookie here, looks like Party Chairman Gen. Mao Obama won’t have to shut down the internet after all, because people are thinking for themselves.

I don’t know about “ordinary Americans,” but, no, I do NOT think much of the American voter? And if a poll revealed that the majority of “ordinary Americans” voted for bo, then, no, I don’t think much of them, either.

DO YOU!!!!????

Do you see who’s in the White House?

Make your move: Defend the American voter.

Do you see who’s in the White House?

Of course, I do.

But he only won 52% of the vote, not 60%. And a whole lotta people now recognize they made a mistake.

And I have difficulty identifying the 35-40% who represent the Democrats' base as "ordinary", much less Americans.

Consequently, I believe that 60% is, indeed, representative of "ordinary Americans" and that, come November, that shall become apparent.

Even to cynics like yourself...

NO person who made that “mistake” deserves an ounce of respect or sympathy or pity or anything else. Any human who would put that “person” on the White House because Katie Couric gave him the nod, needs, at the very least, to leave America and never ever come back.

I am not a cynic. I see that Americans have put the house in Dem hands for something like 55 of the last 70 years. They put carter in the WH. They put CLINTON!!!!! in the WH... TWICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, it’s a foreign muslim marxist from kenya who hates this country with the same passion and fire as bin laden himself. The people who did those things are sickening pukes.

And the 40% who do trust them are under 25 and over 75.
