Former Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain says that if he was the partys nominee, he would probably have a substantial lead on President Barack Obama by now.
The reason is quite simple: I have some depth to my ideas, the former Godfathers Pizza CEO said in a speech at the University of Florida, The Gainesville Sun reports. He was speaking at the school as part of his College Truth Tour.

Cain never stops telling everyone how great he is. I still think he’s a good guy though.
Ok...You know if you were the nominee, that would mean you didn’t drop out at the first media swipe.
Romney has had that X 1000 and still is standing.
Well, then, I guess he should have stayed in the race.
Cain couldn’t stay ahead of Mitt Romney.
From what I could tell, there was no reason for him to drop out. He just didn’t want to take the crap anymore.
Herman brought a can-do attitude and a pleasant, humorous Happy Warrior demeanor. I miss him and hope he stays on the public stage. I know he has his CainTV but I’d like to see him involved with the next administration.
At least he campaigned/spoke in Detroit, 0bama hasn’t done that.
I really liked him a year ago, but in my judgement he was not ready for prime time. I think some of his ideas were not necessarily that deep, but I liked them anyway. He had my heart. Romney sort of has my head at this point. Best wishes to him in whatever he ends up doing.
“Whatever happened to that lawsuit against those women who falsely accused of him sexual harassment?”
Odd that - it went away instantly.
Plus- it was his wife that asked him to end it. Still wish he had stayed in. :(
SIGH... Cain could’ve been a great candidate... if only he weren’t such a lady’s man....
Well Herman then you should have controlled your little friend better. Yeah I wanted you to get the nod, but you screwed up, and then quit.
Come on, Herman. This doesn’t really help anything except your own ego. Time to stop giving the media sound bites and start rallying around the only hope we have.
he will replace Neal Boortz in Janaury

I feel Cain is right on this point. Mitt has run a terrible campaign, I suspect this is due in no small part to traitors among his ranks.
I think the Massachusetts man has leftist friends from back when he ran for Governor of Massachusetts undermining his campaign. In fact in my gut I think theses same men supported him for Govern so that he could be used as a puppet for Romney care.
Go away Herman. Your schtick is really getting to be distasteful.
I wanted him for president. Maybe Mitt will be smart enough to pur him in charge of something.
