I see the Obama campaign has redesigned the American flag, and very attractive it is, too. Replacing the 50 stars of a federal republic is the single "O" logo symbolizing the great gaping maw of spendaholic centralization. And where the stripes used to be are a handful of red daubs, eerily mimicking the bloody finger streaks left on the pillars of the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi as its staff were dragged out by a mob of savages to be tortured and killed. What better symbol could one have of American foreign policy? Who says the slick, hollow, vapid marketing of the Obama campaign doesn't occasionally intersect with reality?

It also strikes me that the 0 flag symbolizes both the “dumbing down” of America by using 3rd grade level art, as well as the desire to drive America into the past, losing modern technology and refinement.

I got it from FReeper mkboyce who said to spread it around - a lot of blogs/folks have commented on the O-flag reminding them of the bloody handprint and I think this is the best interpretation of that ‘vision’ that I’ve seen. It is really powerful.
I’ve posted this before and will repeat that I, like numerous others, have fought and some have died for the current U.S. flag, and I will die defending it. I will personally go on the Capital steps and burn that rag Obummer is pushing. They can come after me, shoot me (others have tried) or hang me but I will still defend our flag. At my age (75) I am NOT AFRAID of Obummer and his stupid regime. The problem with our country today is too damn many of our citizens are afraid to stand up for themselves. We (not me) have become a bunch of sheep and will go along with that ever his majesty tells them, well, NOT ME! (I’m down off my soap box now). Bring it on!

I saw a reference to this before, but I was preoccupied or something and didn't pursue it -- haven't seen any more until this. What is the whole story on the "redesigned" flag? Is he actually using something like that in his campaign?

Yes and we got some good exposure to the beautiful people actually implementing this “education of our children” in all the news coverage about the Chicago teachers strike last week.
Yes that is what I meant to say. Unfortunately, a majority still. We sent our two kids to public school, yet I believe we were still able to "educate" them, after the fact and mostly by example, and I have to say it was because of a Mr. Rush Limbaugh. Now in spite of their public education my grown kids are as conservative as we are and better citizens than I ever will be. Three of my four grandkids are being home schooled, and believe me they are being educated. My 12 year old grandson CAN understand a Tom Sowell column! And I am not worried about my one grandchild who goes to public school, he is getting his real education at home as well. Home schooling parents are true American heroes, and we reward them by making them pay double for the cost of educating their children. It would be great if Romney's proposed voucher program would also address this injustice.

This is being sold at Omuslim’s campaign store - a mere $35.00. He also has one of the United States ... the country in the ‘bloody-looking’ stripes with his cult ‘O’ symbol on the left. The guy’s ego knows no bounds. A lot of people are objecting, saying it is a desecration of the flag.

My dad is a WWII vet .... he’ll be 90 in December. I cannot begin to tell you how upset he is. He was a medical tech and saw the price our American boys paid in life and limb (they were coming in from the Pacific battles with the Japanese). He’s never talked much about it until recently. If he could still walk well enough (his knees are about gone), he’d probably join you on the Capital steps.

It’s shockingly powerful. Oddly enough, I hadn’t seen the terrible photo of the hand prints, only the disgraceful flag. May all the people responsible for this atrocity in Libya burn in hell.
Appalling — but you knew that! Are any of the people objecting not of a clear conservative persuasion? I can’t imagine a lot of people know about this; surely the MSM wouldn’t show it!
Hot Air, The Blaze, Twitchy are the main ones I’ve seen commenting & they are definitely conservative. The campaign did pull the image off a tweet after ‘complaints’, but they are still offering it on their website. The claim making the image “ok”: it’s “art” and not a desecration of the flag.
