A war with Israel is practically inevitable, Iranian General Mohammad Ali Jafari said Saturday. At a meeting of the top echelon of the Revolutionary Guards, which Jafari commands, the general said that “the shameful and cancerous tumour that is Israel is seeking war against us, but it is not known when that war will happen. They now consider war as the only way to confront us, but they are so stupid that their (US) masters should stop them.”
Jafari was quite emphatic that a war was nearly inevitable. "This (war) will eventually happen as the (Islamic) revolution is moving rapidly towards its goals, and they cannot tolerate this,” Jafari was quoted as saying by Iranian media. “And finally, they will impose a war situation. Even if they (the Israelis) act rationally, this incident will happen." The comments were the first time Iran has acknowledged the probability of open armed conflict with Israel. Previously, it has dismissed such a scenario as bluff on the part of Israel's leaders. "Everyone knows that they cannot confront the power of the Islamic republic,” he added. “But there is no guarantee of rationality, and it is possible that they will go crazy" and attack...

The fellow who said war will come is right—the only question is when and how. Another question—how long will it last? Will other nations join in? What about Egypt? What about Syria? What about Iraq? What about Pakistan? What of China? or Russia? This could—turn into WW III if people are not careful. Who will stand with America if we are pulled in? England? France? Japan? Canada? What if the conflict lasts for several years? What if it goes Nuclear? What if America is hit by daily acts of terrorism? We have not had this since 9-11. Our whole way of life might end in a few days—what do we do if the power is off? Internet crashes? Food and gas is rationed in a cold winter? Who is running things? Lets hope the war is short—two months at most.
I agree that war is coming. I just said it will not be the one prophesied in Eze 38 because there are some requirements that have not been met. What I do believe is that the coming war with Iran may set conditions in Israel just right for the Eze 38 war to take place a little bit later.
