It is reprehensible to allow our Foreign Service delegations to be in a country that is unsecure - without armed protection. It is even more egregious to Monday morning quarterback a heretofore pack of bald faced lies by opining the the US Marine Corps ‘could not have done anything’ in the first place......they weren’t even given the chance.

In the instance in question, the dead one believed he possesses God like ability to calm and pacify to the point his striving provided the shield and protection. You completely miss the point of pacifists who believe we must coexist and can coexist. The pacifist delusion is on trial and is shown to be that delusion. It will not however disappear because some nonexistent external rationalization will be raised as cause.
What should not be allowed is a pacifist State Department populated by delusional ideologues spouting Harvard Yard pacifist drivel.
