Don’t believe it. Both Gallup and Rassmussen’s latest tracking polls have it tied, 46-46 and 47-47. The media is going to keep pushing this narrative until a few days before the election. If the polls don’t show Obama ahead then, they will report the race is “unexpectedly tightening”.

OK can you believe: "In a presidential race seemingly frozen in place for months, the advantage has shifted toward Governor Romney after a series of miscues by President Obama, punctuated by the Democrat incumbent's "you didn't build that" comment and a complete disintegration of the administration's Middle East policies"?

Gallup and Rasmussen both have it tied. Since "undecided" voters typically break for the incumbent, Obama's campaign should be in full-fledged panic mode right now. Let's hope that behind the teleprompter, Zero is frazzled and says or does something really, really stupid during the debates.

I checked intrade this AM - it says there Obama is a 70% probability. I tend to give gamblers more leeway than pundits. However, at this time I see intrade as an overlay and would buy Romney at 3.33 to 1. Romney can not be getting blasted as the article indicates if both Gallup and Rasmussen have a flat footed tie as of this am. It’s important to note that the article was from a noted lefty rag. In sum - they’re whistling past the graveyard as things stand today.

Naahhh ... it's just Maine trying to muddy the waters, being one of the Eastern states and the first to have returns announced.

I don't know if the "Ayup, y'cahn't get they-a from he-ah" citizens are sold on obozo.

Then again, all of New England has been infiltrated by the Boston 'educated' commie/socialists.

Why is it every time there is “bad” news for Romney or polls showing him down in the race ... it is always criticized as “bias” or unbelievable?

Maybe all these bad news stories for Romney have something to them. People are not excited about him and and many people go with the devil they know then the devil they don't.

In my little part of the world (NH), there is no great like for Romney (and not much love for Zero), but they look at Romney as a fatcat zillionaire ... and now with his 14% tax rate middle class people are saying “I pay more than that” (even though their Effective tax rates are much less).

There seems to be WAAAAAAY to much “whistling past the graveyard” here and FR. Way to much over confidence. I believe we are all going to be slapped in the face with a terrible reality on Wed. Nov 7th.

I would agree, especially southern Maine. On another note, I watched Obama 2016 yesterday, (before it got pulled from youtube) What an eye opener.

Intrade does not have any "magic/secret" insider info like some odds maker who talked to the trainer on a football team and knows the true injury info. It it the collective choice of thousands of people who read these junk polls and then bet.

Many people on here resent the MSM and the biased reporting.
The resentment toward Romney not fighting back is starting to grow. Romeny seems to be stuck in neutral, unable to get the car into drive. He refuses to take risks. Obama can not get much traction either. His friends in the low places media seem to keep trying to push his car as he spins in a ditch.

No, it’s just the media building a meme.

First, pretend that Romney’s “gaffes” will alienate voters.

Then manufacture Democrat-heavy polls to substantiate this.

Then run news stories about Romney’s campaign being rocked by the polling trend.

Smoke and mirrors.

I believe Romney will win this race.

However that said, this may be the last Republican race won, unless we reverse the globalization of the economy.

That 8% unemployment rate is a symptom of a USA increasingly without jobs. A USA without jobs, is a USA which votes democrat.

We have nearly passed the point of no return. We must bring back jobs. Now.

In our state the commie-rat challenger to the Republican senate candidate constantly refers to to him as a millionaire in her adds.

And here it is stated: “but they look at Romney as a fatcat zillionaire”.

Somebody please explain to me how someone being wealthy makes them unsuitable for public office? What is the logic, what is the rationale behind this other than playing mind games with the stupid?

I’m so sick of this class warfare/divide and conquer leftist BS I could just puke!!!!!!!!!

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in New Hampshire shows Romney with 48% support to President Obama’s 45%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

I disagree, thought I also agree Romney is blowing it as a campaigner:

I believe Ryan is Romney’s secret weapon.

That is, Ryan SHOULD be Romney’s secret weapon. Romney seems to be too self-focused to use him.

Yes, but it’s TIED! Romney needs to start drawing crowds. Too bad he dissed Palin in “08. He could use her charisma now.

I wish he’d start by telling some home truths about the bad parts of Obamacare and being frank about the bad parts. (For instance, I sure don’t want my financials available for feds to poke around in.) If Obamacare is so GREAT, why are all the SPECIAL people exempt..., the president, congress, unions, etc.

Why do we need so many czars regulating our lives with no congressional oversight?

Why does someone have to buy Obama a multi-milion dollar mansion in Hawaii while so many people are struggling to keep their homes? I guess Illinois isn’t good enough.

I’m sure there are more Obama soft spots that the Romney campaign hasn’t mentioned that would resonate with the little folks. Where are you Mitt?

No

The anger on the right will drive turnout.

The not so pleased on the left especially with blacks and those against gay marriage will drive turnout the other way.

We can’t stop dead people from voting or illegals but that should be enough to stop Obama. Of course, he has Holder and the courts on his side. Will the military follow orders when he sends them out to stop us?

For Romney to be tied in both tthe Gallup and Rasmussen polls after having been pilloried by the media for the past two weeks is quite impressive. I don’t quite see how the “momentum” is with Obama when the race is TIED. But then again, I’m not a “journalist”.

Obama's campaign is worried. Been that way for a while. 'bama has been leaking states he won in 2008 like a sieve. They've put on a full court press of shaky polling and a Romney "gaffe a day" yet they can't get their coolest most likeable president ever over 47 percent.

I think NH is a done deal, but we have a lawsuit in progress that could save Obama's bacon.

Our legislature (correctly and sensibly) passed a law requiring college students to be domiciled in NH in order to vote here. This eliminates their ability to vote twice (once absentee at home and once in NH), since (in theory) adopting an NH domicile should eliminate their voter registration at home.

Anyway, there are probably 25 000+ Obama voters from 2008 who would not be allowed to vote in 2012 under the new law, so that is in front of a Federal judge right now. If he rules for the students, that may be enough votes to beat Romney.

“That 8% unemployment rate is a symptom of a USA increasingly without jobs.”

This is very troubling. The last numbers showed a decrease in unemployment while 300K + have dropped out of the unemployment calculation. IMO if this keeps up zero will have his bogus unemployment numbers below 8.0%.
