"Obama's momentum benefits from his rival 'making the case against himself,' a strategist says.

The Associated Press

DES MOINES, Iowa - In a presidential race seemingly frozen in place for months, the advantage has shifted toward President Obama after a series of miscues by Mitt Romney, punctuated by the Republican challenger's comments about people who pay no income tax.

Romney is as uninspiring as McCain and running an even worse campaign at this point in time . McCain blew it in the debates . I don’t see Mr. Milquetoast doing any better in the upcoming debates . Many think he is a fall guy , and I am beginning to think so myself .

Well maybe not latest poll in your state looks pretty good. Oh sorry hate to ruin your the sky is falling mood.

The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in New Hampshire shows Romney with 48% support to President Obama’s 45%. Four percent (4%) prefer some other candidate, and three percent (3%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

I disagree, thought I also agree Romney is blowing it as a campaigner:

I believe Ryan is Romney’s secret weapon.

That is, Ryan SHOULD be Romney’s secret weapon. Romney seems to be too self-focused to use him.

GET RYAN OUT THERE.

Yes, but it’s TIED! Romney needs to start drawing crowds. Too bad he dissed Palin in “08. He could use her charisma now.

I wish he’d start by telling some home truths about the bad parts of Obamacare and being frank about the bad parts. (For instance, I sure don’t want my financials available for feds to poke around in.) If Obamacare is so GREAT, why are all the SPECIAL people exempt..., the president, congress, unions, etc.

Why do we need so many czars regulating our lives with no congressional oversight?

Why does someone have to buy Obama a multi-milion dollar mansion in Hawaii while so many people are struggling to keep their homes? I guess Illinois isn’t good enough.

I’m sure there are more Obama soft spots that the Romney campaign hasn’t mentioned that would resonate with the little folks. Where are you Mitt?

No kidding.

They try to pin miscues on Romney while the Mideast goes up in flames, the economy continues to tumble, unemployment is at an all time high and gas prices soar.

Good grief!

No

The anger on the right will drive turnout.

The not so pleased on the left especially with blacks and those against gay marriage will drive turnout the other way.

We can’t stop dead people from voting or illegals but that should be enough to stop Obama. Of course, he has Holder and the courts on his side. Will the military follow orders when he sends them out to stop us?

For Romney to be tied in both tthe Gallup and Rasmussen polls after having been pilloried by the media for the past two weeks is quite impressive. I don’t quite see how the “momentum” is with Obama when the race is TIED. But then again, I’m not a “journalist”.

Uhh umm Why is Obama going to Wisconsin ? Needs more cheese? Why did Obama’s campaign manager say “we aren't worried about the national polls they are going to tighten” Either this is a rope dope campaign strategy or Obama is in trouble, even in Wisconsin!

Obama's campaign is worried. Been that way for a while. 'bama has been leaking states he won in 2008 like a sieve. They've put on a full court press of shaky polling and a Romney "gaffe a day" yet they can't get their coolest most likeable president ever over 47 percent.

OBAMA IS TOAST FOLKS
