Thanks Laz - I had forgotten about this one: : (from the link)

“Well, I think you are going to be surprised when you get a black president very soon.”

The consensus we expressed was that we didn’t think there was anything innately barring that. The right person at the right time and sure, America would try to vote for the right person, be he or she black or not.

“What if I told you that you will have a black president very soon and he will be a Communist?”

The out-of-the-blue remark was met by our stares. She continued, “Well, you will; and he will be a Communist.”

It was then that the husband unsuccessfully tried to change the subject; but she was on a roll and would have nothing of it. One of us asked, “It sounds like you know something we don’t know.”

“Yes, it is true. This is not some idle talk. He is already born and he is educated and being groomed to be president right now. You will be impressed to know that he has gone to the best schools of Presidents. He is what you call “Ivy League”. You don’t believe me, but he is real and I even know his name. His name is Barack. His mother is white and American and his father is black from Africa. That’s right, a chocolate baby! And he’s going to be your President.”

Very interesting. So the ultra-conservative Saudis, the heroes of all good palaeoconservatives and financial angels of the World Anti-Communist League (when it was riddled by skull-measuring Nazi types) are now the cutting edge of World Revolution. Is there any particular reason the Saudis are so into abortion and sodomy?

Isn't the House of Saud split between those on the inside and those who hate the family members who are on the inside? My guess - 'palace intrigue' is played on the world stage...

Interesting that he is referred to as a genius a few times.

"Genius' has the feel of being a code word... Can some freeper check it out?

That's great Boortz used the material. Keep spreading the word. . . This is so deep and goes back to at least 1980. . or to Wilson as Beck says. What a fight we have on our hands.

Well, that old commie, Pablo Picasso said, “What might be taken for a precocious genius is the genius of childhood. When the child grows up, it disappears without a trace. It may happen that this boy will become a real painter some day, or even a great painter. But then he will have to begin everything again, from zero.”

Or scroll on down the page and read the thought below the picture.

It’s a archi-cultural thang.

Pablo Picasso? Gimme a break. He's one step above Jackson Pollock. Drip, drip, drip. Modern 'art' exist to allowed men who make millions running garbage collection businesses and widget factories to become standards of taste in their own minds... The stuff's crap - anyone here would know that because we're not posing as puffed up liberal elite phonies. This goes double for modern atonal 'music'.

And 'shock art' - that exists so gay men without a scintilla of talent can get art grants and pretend they're special...As far as true genius goes - maybe 200 people in the history of the world... and Obama - he ain't one of 'em.

What? You didn’t catch the essence of Obama in Picasso’s genius statement? The last word in the quote was even zero.

You reply as if I suggested you purchase something Pablo Picasso painted or worse that I was impressed with it.

You wondered if genius was some kind of code word. Like many others, I’m sure, I’ve wondered about that genius tag the left hung on Obama so I occasionally look around trying to get a handle on that.

It would be nice to believe those who could be described as liberal elite phonies only sit around philosophizing about a more perfect/gentle/loving/peaceful world posing for each other.

Unfortunately, they also plan, they also take action, they also organize and they got lots and lots of money. But they do philosophize. They couldn’t gain intellectual standing without it in their community, no matter what level of society they exist.

One shouldn’t make the mistake of discounting the power of atonal music when millions listen to it and identify with the message that accompanies it. There is some insight to be gained in that message on the page I linked to if one considers and takes serious the anger and the discipline of the gangs that rule neighborhoods or if you will, political sub-divisions.

What I think they mean by their use of genius is actually catalyst. I also think the left, at every level, understands if you let the catalyst run free you or your party or your gang is going to benefit, someone else is going to pay and change is finally gonna come.

But I ain’t no genius. You don’t have to agree with me. You might want to prepare to expect the unexpected, though.

I stand in awe of liberal elite's interesting concoctions - mixes of social psychology, philosophy and ghetto politics... Amazing stuff. Then I remember ... their goal is old and ugly - power, self glorification - stirred and fermented in warmed-up Marxism. Not grand. Not impressive. Conservatives stand - holding hands together - - looking up - functioning as chemical inhibitors within this wicked noxious brew... We will win. Expect the unexpected.

March 24, 1988

And yet, despite the segregation and mistreatment, Jarrett had a good time in the Navy. For one thing, it took him to the big city. All the blacks who enlisted from his part of the country were sent to boot camp in the black section of the Great Lakes naval base about 40 miles north of Chicago, which was such a wonderful adventure for a youngster from Paris, Tennessee, population 9,000, that Jarrett would come back here to live soon after he was discharged. Among the many wonders he experienced in Chicago was a speech by Aleksandr Kerensky, an early leader of the Russian Revolution, who was driven from power by the Bolsheviks and exiled to the U.S. People like Kerensky were barely rumors in Paris, or in Knoxville, where Jarrett went to college, or even in nearby Nashville, a big city by southern standards.

From Great Lakes, Jarrett was sent to Cape May, New Jersey, not far from New York City. Jarrett’s most poignant memory of New York is of getting into a fight in an Automat with a loudmouthed anti-Semite. Jarrett says he made so much trouble in Cape May that the Navy shipped him back to Great Lakes and finally to Hawaii. “They didn’t know what to do with us educated blacks in the Navy,” he says. “They should have made us officers like they did with the educated whites, but they wouldn’t do that so they kept shifting us around.”

Apparently the instruction sheet the Navy put out on how to handle “Negroes” didn’t include information about college-educated blacks. It wasn’t just that he was educated; Jarrett was not very subservient. He protested loudly when he and the other blacks were forced to shave off their mustaches. “You don’t know what a mustache means to a Negro,” he tried to explain. For blacks, he insisted, a mustache is a sign of manhood—in that time of Jim Crow it was one of the few symbols of masculinity that a black man could call his own.

“We had one meeting with the commander and then gave up. We just couldn’t make a dent in him,” Jarrett says.

He and his friends didn’t always give up so quickly. At Cape May, they staged a hunger strike when the mess hall was resegregated after a brawl. In Hawaii, Jarrett almost hit an officer who was insulting Jews. He told the man, “You’re a poor-assed representative of America. You sound just like Hitler.” When the officer asked for his number, Jarrett said “Go f*ck yourself” and walked away promising, “I’m going to report you.”

Jarrett’s protests were not always face-to-face. He was the editor of the black base newspaper in Hawaii. “It was a civil rights paper,” he says with his characteristic chortle. ...

Narrator: United States entry into World War II led to an outpouring of American patriotism. Many whites in mainstreams newspapers were zealous cheerleaders, but for black Americans enthusiasm for the war effort was often tempered by the bitter reality of segregation.

Narrator: James Thompson, a cafeteria worker from Wichita, Kansas, suggested in a letter to The Pittsburgh Courier that African Americans use the war overseas to press for change in their own back yard.

James Thomspon Voice Over: “Should I sacrifice my life to live half- American? Will things be better for the next generation in the peace to follow? Let me colored Americans adopt the Double V for the double victory. The first V for victory over our enemies from without. The second V for victory over our enemies from within.”

Edna Chappell McKenzie: When this young fella, Thompson, came up with the idea of the Double V, Victory at Home and Victory Abroad, it fit right into all that we lived for.

Vernon Jarrett: Victory in Europe and in the Pacific, victory in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Chicago, and Harlem and Detroit, as well, meaning a victory against racism.

Robert R. Lavelle: and so The Courier came out with this Double V campaign and, of course, it spread — oh, we — we embraced it, hugged it, loved it, yeah. Agreed. That’s right. That’s what we did.

Kengor: I’ll start with Valerie Jarrett, who is Obama’s single closest adviser, like a sister to both the president and first lady.

When Frank Marshall Davis was in Chicago in the 1940s, he hooked up with every communist front-group under the sun—and there were tons of them. One of the worst was the American Peace Mobilization, which Congress correctly identified as “one of the most seditious organizations which ever operated in the United States”—“one of the most notorious and blatantly communist fronts ever organized in this country.” This group, in 1940, pushed to keep America out of the war against Hitler. Why? Because, at that point, Hitler had just signed an alliance with Stalin. American communists, being loyal Soviet patriots with a sworn allegiance to the USSR, always backed Stalin.

It’s a long story, but Frank Marshall Davis worked with this front group. And the 1944 Congressional report listing his involvement also lists the involvement of a fellow Chicagoan named Robert Taylor. Taylor was the grandfather of Valerie Jarrett. This was actually Valerie Jarrett’s grandfather? He worked on this front-group with Frank Marshall Davis, Obama’s mentor?

Kengor: Yes, and that’s not the end of it. Taylor also served with Davis on the Chicago Civil Liberties Committee, another communist front whose members cloaked themselves as civil-rights crusading “progressives.” Both Taylor and Davis jointly served on the board together—meaning they were major players.

And there’s another Jarrett connection in this: Both Taylor and Davis knew another Chicago leftist, Vernon Jarrett. Vernon Jarrett and Davis teamed up on the small publicity team of the communist-controlled Packinghouse Workers Union; incidentally, Frank Marshall Davis publicly wrote a column calling for the nationalization of the meat industry. Vernon Jarrett ultimately became Valerie Jarrett’s father-in-law.

If you were unfamiliar with Valerie Jarrett's past, I would think that it is interesting to start with her birth. She was born in Shiraz, Iran in 1956, where her father, James Bowman, was working as a doctor for an American program intended to aid developing countries strengthen their health efforts.

While in Shiraz, Bowman had become acquainted with a prominent Iranian by the name of Mohamed Nemazee. It was during his stay in Iran that James Bowman, as well as Mohamed Nemazee, had allegedly gotten involved in pro-communist movements, including such organizations as the Tudeh Party of Iran, that called for the nationalization of such industries like oil, in which the Nemazee had also been involved with, but the crackdown following the 1953 Coup against Masaddeq forced both of these men to curtail any public support, which eventually led to Bowman leaving to London in 1961, and then later returning to Chicago in 1963.

It is also interesting to note that Valerie Jarrett's mother, Barbara Bowman, was responsible for the founding of the Erikson Institute, which counted William Ayers’ father as a Chairman of the Board Of Trustees. It was a result of the her and her husband's socialist involvement in Iran that led her to the creation of the Erikson Institute, along with philanthropist Irving B. Harris, social worker Lorrain Wallach, and child psychologist Maria Piers. It's original mission was to provide teachers with education on understanding the role family and culture play on a child's life. This area of study was essential in establishing early education lesson plans designed to indoctrinate the youth.

I return to Jarrett's father, James Bowman, and his association with Mohamed Nemazee. Mohamed, while known as the founder of his namesake hospital in Iran, he is also the father of Hassan Nemazee, who was a top fundraiser for not only the Democratic Party, but for Barrack Obama. It is also interesting that Nemazee was arrested in August of this year for defrauding banks of $292 million dollars to fund his political activism.

The investment banker Robert Wolf first met Barack Obama one afternoon in December in a midtown conference room. Obama was in town to deliver a speech at a charity dinner for children in poverty at the Mandarin Oriental—but also to pursue another, less high-minded, but more momentous, objective: to begin the process of attempting to pick Hillary Clinton’s pocket.

The conference room belonged to George Soros, the billionaire bête noire of the right. After talking to Soros for an hour about his prospective bid for the White House, Obama walked down the hall and found assembled a dozen of the city’s heaviest-hitting Democratic fund-raisers: investment banker Hassan Nemazee, Wall Street power Blair Effron, private-equity hotshot Mark Gallogly, hedge-fund manager Orin Kramer. Most had been big-time John Kerry backers in 2004. Most had a connection to the Clintons. All were officially uncommitted for 2008.

Path to Power

Like Obama, Jarrett has a somewhat unusual life story, something they bonded over when the two first met in 1991.

Jarrett’s father [see below] was a doctor, and in the 1950s, he and his wife, Barbara, who is an expert in early childhood development, moved to Shiraz, Iran, about 500 miles south of Tehran. He was part of a program that sent American doctors and agriculture experts to developing nations,

and Jarrett was born in 1956 at Nemazee Hospital, the brand-new hospital for which he father worked. They lived in Iran for six years, and moved to England for one year before returned to Chicago and settling in Hyde Park

Nemazee Capital, established in 1987, invests in health care, media, oil and natural gas and other industries, according to the firm’s Web site. The firm has more than $3 billion under management, according to a July press release.

Hassan Nemazee was born in Washington in 1950 and graduated with honors from Harvard University in 1972, according to his Web site.

The online site lists affiliations with institutions including the RAND Center for Middle East Public Policy, the Asia Society, Harvard’s Center for International Affairs

and Nemazee Hospital in Shiraz, Iran, which was built into a modern facility by his father, Mohamed Nemazee, according to the site.

Nemazee Fallout
August 25, 2009

Here’s the US Attorney of the Southern District Preet Bharara’s complaint against Democratic mega-donor Hassan Nemazee, the chairman of Nemazee Capital Corp. who was arrested today on charges that he used phony documents to trick Citigroup Inc. into lending him up to $74 million.

Nemazee is perhaps best known as a fundraiser for both President Obama and former Sen. Hillary Clinton.

He also served as national finance chairman for the DSCC when it was headed by Sen. Chuck Schumer, which is sort of ironic, considering that Bharara was, until very recently, working as chief counsel to the senior senator of New York.

Nemazee has maxed out in contributions to both Schumer and Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, giving them a total of $4,800 each (two $2,400 checks to Schumer in April - one for the primary, one for the general - and two of the same amount to Gillibrand in June).

Woops. I missed some additional contributions. Nemazee gave Gillibrand $1,000 in 2005 and another $1,000 in 2006. He gave two $2,000 donations to Rep. Carolyn Maloney in 2005. There was also $151,700 to the DSCC between March 2006 and March 2009.

I’m still awaiting word on whether this money will be returned.

Nemazee, Hassan Complaint

Jarrett’s ties to the University of Chicago are longstanding.

Her father, James Bowman, is Professor Emeritus in Pathology and Medicine at the University and the first African American to be tenured in the Division of Biological Sciences. The University’s Bowman Society, which promotes minority health care and diversity in the biological sciences, is named after him.

Intrigue Surrounds a New Iranian American PAC

New York Sun, The (NY) - Monday, July 21, 2003

Author: ADAM DAIFALLAH Staff Reporter of the Sun

WASHINGTON - Senators Schumer, Kennedy, Carper, and two congressmen are listed as guests attending the kickoff of a new Iranian-American political action committee here tomorrow.

The Iranian American Political Action Committee is being established “to raise funds from the Iranian American community to support candidates for political office who have shown a commitment to our community’s domestic concerns and issues,” according to the group’s Web site.

The Iranian American PAC is led by Hassan Nemazee , a wealthy Iranian-American who has served on the board of the American Iranian Council, a group that advocates resuming ties between Iran and America.

Mr. Nemazee was nominated by President Clinton as ambassador to Argentina but withdrew before getting a confirmation vote in the Senate.

The PAC’s Web site says that Messrs. Kennedy, Schumer, and Carper, Rep. Steny Hoyer, a Democrat of Maryland, and Rep. Darrell Issa, a Republican of California, will be featured guests at a cocktail reception here tomorrow night at the Phoenix Park Hotel.

But a spokesman for Mr. Issa, Frederick Hill, said the event is “not on his schedule and never was on his schedule.” A spokesman from Mr. Carper’s office said that the event was on his schedule but that he wasn’t sure if he’d be attending. Calls to spokesmen for Mr. Kennedy on Friday and Mr. Schumer yesterday were not returned.

Our Man in Washington Sir Peter Westmacott will arrive with family baggage
Sir Peter Westmacott, the next UK amabassador to America, is the brother-in-law of Hassan Nemazee, a prominent fundraiser for the Democrats, who was imprisoned for fraud

Britain’s Prince Harry talks with Dr. Jill Biden, left, and British Ambassador Sir Peter Westmacott, second from right, and his wife Susie Nemazee, right, during a reception at the British Ambassador’s Residence in Washington, Monday, May 7, 2012, to meet members of the British and American teams who are taking part in the Warrior Games. The Warrior Games is an event hosted every year by the US Olympic Committee.

Another key Biden contributor is Hassan Nemazee, a New York money-manager who chaired Hillary Clinton’s finance committee, personally raising over $500,000 for her campaign. Nemazee also has served on the board of the American-Iranian Council, and more recently set up the Iranian-American Political Action Committee (IAPAC) along with a group of Silicon Valley billionaires, many of whom have close ties to the Iranian regime. Because of the controversy Nemazee and IAPAC members have generated within the Iranian-American community, the PAC’s Web site includes a bald disclaimer of any ties to Tehran. “IAPAC has no relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran . . . and is not focused on U.S. policy towards Iran, establishing ties with or legitimizing the government of Iran,” it says. Obama’s choice of Joe Biden as his running mate “highlights the need to really investigate the web of Iranian influence in the United States,” Iranian-American political analyst Hassan Daioleslam told Newsmax. “What you have here is a group of people who have been working together through different groups and organizations for the past ten years” to promote the interests of the Iranian regime. “It’s deeply troubling to have a vice-presidential candidate raise funds from people whose ties to the Iranian regime raise such serious questions,” Daioleslam said.

The Dems’ Corrupt Money Man
Mar 21, 2010 6:48 PM EDT
High-rolling fundraiser Hassan Nemazee personally spoke to Vice President Joe Biden about an ambassadorship, The Daily Beast has learned. Then the FBI busted him for running a Ponzi scheme. Lloyd Grove on the man behind the fraud.

When Barack Obama picked Joe Biden as his running mate, Nemazee was “ecstatic,” according to an associate, “because now he would have a direct line to the White House.” He boasted that Biden was among his closest friends, and finally he would obtain that ambassadorship he’d always dreamed of. Indeed, he narrowly missed getting one in 1999, when Biden was his lead defender on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and Republican senators worked to quash Nemazee’s nomination to be President Clinton’s ambassador to Argentina. A damaging article in Forbes magazine detailing Nemazee’s sharp business practices over the years didn’t help his cause.

“It is my great pleasure to introduce Senator Joe Biden. I take personal pleasure in doing so as Senator Biden is not only a man of unique accomplishments in the Senate but I’m fortunate to call him a personal friend.”

That’s how alleged Ponzi schemer Hassan Nemazee kicked off a March 2002 panel discussion on Iran in Washington, sponsored by the American Iranian Council. (Nemazee’s father is Iranian, according to Forbes.)

BIDEN: Hassan thank you very much. I want you to know that Hassan, I have taken advantage of his knowledge and taken advantage of his friendship to seek his advice on many, many issues, including Iran. As a matter of fact, had had I my way — I would be referring to him as Ambassador Nemazee.
