[snip]Take Congressman John Lewis, for example. He was the son -- (applause.) Yes, indeed. He was the son of sharecroppers.

[snip] And then there's Congressman Louis Stokes who was raised by a widowed mother in Cleveland's public housing.

[snip] But from so many unlikely places, members of this caucus rose up and lived out their own version of the great American Dream. And that is why they came here to Washington. They came because they were determined to give others that same chance;

Racism reins with Michelle Obama and the CBC...'they came' because Washington is where the money and black power are. Ms. Obama now loves her country after some 40 + years of not loving it...but now that Barry is President her love of country and the hi-life afforded her and her family brings sudden love...however, not respect of same. The Obama's net gain after 3 3/4 years is somewhere at $11.3 million...how do Bureaucrats become so wealthy?

This from the ‘lady’ who wore $1000 designer sneakers when she was ‘fake weeding’ that garden out back of the WH she had somebody plant for her. She doesn’t even know the meaning of the words “stoop-labor” or what “talk cotton” means. An affirmative action diversity silver-spooned Queen-Pretender.

"They'll put y'all back in chains!"...oh wait, that was Slow-Joe.

She took some time out from wagging the wagyu to spend some time with 'the common black folk'. How nice.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I’ve heard the line that blacks have come so far, but not far enough. What WILL be enough?

Miz Michelle reeled-off a litany of greivances, many of which are probably legitimate ... but all of which were perpetrated by Democrats.

"So we moved forward, and we won those battles. And we made progress that our parents and grandparents could never have dreamed of."

Why Moochelle, don't you know, your people didn't win those battles by themselves. Somebody else did it for them.

Blah, blah, blah! And we give a damn why? Most blacks are the worlds biggest whiners. When they start giving a damn about the welfare of my family maybe we have something to talk about but otherwise stuff it.

Progress is going from being farm slaves to being democrat party slaves. Blacks do the democrats bidding and in turn we taxpayers pay for their necessities.

Quite a racket the democrat party has going.

During her speech she told the story pasted below. What she forgot to mention was that the committee chairman was a DEMOCRAT, John Stennis, chairman from 1969-1981. But I’m sure the lefty press will be reporting that fact straight away. /s

“Now, this work wasn’t always easy, especially in the early years, when many members of this caucus faced challenges they never could have anticipated. For example, back in the early ‘70s, Congressman Ron Dellums was appointed to the Armed Services Committee — (applause) — as was Congresswoman Pat Schroeder. Displeased about having both a woman and an African American assigned to his committee, the chairman at the time added just one seat to the committee room — and he forced the two of them to share it. But Congressman Dellums was unphased. He said to Congresswoman Schroeder, “Let’s not give these guys the luxury of knowing they can get under our skin. Let’s sit here and share this chair as if it’s the most normal thing in the world.” (Laughter.)

——What will the destination look like?——

The destination will not be viewed by those who marched.

When they are are at last dead and gone, the dream can be accomplished. The marchers are more intent on filling their pockets than fulfilling the dream

Sounds very much like what another sista said some time back.

"I don't feel no ways tired..I come too far from where I started from...Nobody told me that the road would be easy...I don't believe he brought me this far to leave me."

I'm a Democrat. Pandering for the black vote is what we do.

As a nation, we had come so far. These race pimps in racially gerrymandered districts were "this close" to becoming anachronisms.

Now, the Chicago Black supremacists and their foolish enablers are dangerously close to setting race relations in the U.S. back more than a half century.

Really? ALL of her great-grandparents were born in the 1870s - 1880s.
