MICROSOFT ACCIDENTALLY TWEETS ANTI-ANN COULTER MESSAGE TO NEARLY 300,000 FOLLOWERS
The Blaze ^ | September 23, 2012

Posted on 09/23/2012 5:25:22 PM PDT by SMGFan

Politico is reporting that Microsoft accidentally delved into the world of partisan politics over the weekend after tweeting out a message insulting conservative author and syndicated columnist Ann Coulter.

In response to liberal economist Robert Reich’s tweet that he would be visiting his granddaughter and sitting on a panel with Coulter over the weekend, the tech giant’s official Twitter feed reportedly responded: “@RBReich your granddaughter’s level of discourse and policy > those of Ann Coulter.”

Here is a purported image of the tweet: (see link)

The tweet was deleted immediately, according to Politico, and was accidentally written by one of the individuals who manages the company’s Twitter account.

“[The] tweet obviously is not an official statement by the company,” Microsoft stated in a press release.

I’m sure there is more than one liberal idiot on Microsoft’s payroll, given that is headquartered in Seattle, a town run by liberal idiots. No need to take it out on Microsoft, however.

I fully expect conservatives to hijack Microsoft’s Facebook page and turn every post into a debate on the company’s positions....... Not.

That’s great. I’d been having a tough time figuring out if I should get a Mac this time. Now Microsoft was kind enough to make my decision for me.

It maybe was accidently sent, but it was NOT accidently written.

Microsoft is NOT headquartered in Seattle and Seattle's municipal government has nothing whatsoever to do with Microsoft. What's more, I previously have not read of Seattle being referred to as a "town" in over 100 years.

I worked in MS Corp PR for 10 years, the poor sap who did this is probably going to be looking for a new job on Monday morning. They don’t come more liberal than this group does and they make covering the company’s ass into an artform. I was one of 3 conservative in a 90 person team. Really toughened me up.

Well choose the one you fell is best, not which is more liberal of the two. For my money I would bet Apple to be much more liberal. At least Gates is giving the better part of his fortune to charities (whether or not you like them ), what did Jobs do with his while alive?

It’s not a tweek translation, but one of algebra.

Anyways, I don’t use twitter either... and the point, i believe, behind the post is apropos: It’s so obscure... this is news today?

If angle brackets had case, I’d have to ask if the author meant little-angle-bracket or BIG-angle-bracket.

Coulter has always been for the inventor Romney-care to replace the inventor of Obama-care..
Her Bull-Shit Meter must be broken... or is watching to many Cartoons..

Myth is surely Wiley E. Coyote in this election...
Coulter would like to think she is Jessica Rabbit but she’s NOT...

Most commercial twitter clients allow you to switch between accounts. He probably meant to post it to his personal account instead of his corporate account. Like the Chrysler guy, he’s probably fired.

Why should he (or she) equivocate, if it’s not what he (or she) believes? “Greater than” is a stronger statement than “equal to or greater than”. (I’m just debating algebra; not the relative merits of Ann Coulter.)

You can't deny they're HQ'd in the Seattle metro area. Redmond is about 20 minutes away. The company itself is incorporated in Reno, Nevada.

They're BIG libs though. Bill Gates' "charity" is a huge supporter of Planned Parenthood International, the UN Population Fund and other causes. A quick search of donor records shows about one million dollars donated to the DNC & Dem congressional committees by Microsoft employees and under $190K to Republicans across the 2008-2012 election cycles. More than eight in ten employee dollars is going to Dems.

I understand the hoopla, but then again Coulter turned into quite the little Romney supporter, so she's no longer relevant as far as I'm concerned.

Anybody who sells their morals out as she did, and not just over Romney, but over all of the liberals she's dated, is not worth the time of day.

your granddaughter’s level of discourse and policy > those of Ann Coulter.

The tweeter is saying that Reich's granddaughter is smarter than Ann. The GD's level of discourse is greater than Ann Coulter's. Does that help?

She was relevant at one point. Ultimately, she fooled a lot of Conservatives into thinking she's conservative, and now she's just another liberal shilling for Romney. We should have seen it coming, given her dating "career" as some have called it.
