Skip to comments.Obama could face October surprise

Mitt Romney has little chance of winning the presidential election, but Barack Obama could still lose it.
Take a look at the polls: Romney just can't sell himself. In fact, the more you see of the guy, the less you are willing to buy.
On the other side, Obama's lead is still narrow, but growing. Nothing is going to change on the economy between now and Nov. 6, so Obama has weathered that storm.
But if he appears overly aggressive or cocky or condescending in the debates, or if the lid really comes off the Middle East, he could still find himself in the middle of a real October surprise.

If 0bama’s done well enough to deserve re-election, I’m living in a reverse parallel universe.
So Willie is taking advantage of that medical marijuana? For dementia, Alzheimer’s or just a legal high?
San Francisco Chronicle just trying to keep the queers cheered up.
I’m betting all three :)
If Obummer is re-elected, the Lord’s return can’t be far away, the goal of Obama and the left is one world government and you can best believe that is where we are headed if he wins a 2nd term, lining things right up with bible prophecy
“Nothing is going to change on the economy between now and Nov. 6...”
Really?? And he can see into the future?
Blab, You can blab,
Tell your friend-boy Willie Brown,
that Zero's standing at the Crossroads,
Believe he's sinkin' down.
compared to Obama..........Romney is over qualified for the job.
Willie Brown .... what drivel.
Willie Brown is an small, ugly, evil creature
This from the SF Chronicle...enough said. I do however miss herb caen.
As I said, this is all just a setup call so the libs can say the only reason Obama lost is because the election was fixed by the Republicans. After Obuma gets beat there will be outcries of voter supression and tampering because they’ve set the expectation that Romney has no chance of winning. Mark my words, the aftermath of this election is going to be ugly.
“compared to Obama.....Romney is over qualified for the job.”
This is a rich play ground:
Compared to Obama, I’m the smartest man in the world....without actually possessing a brain.
Compared to Obama, 1 Irishman holding a light bulb and 2 Irishmen drinking until the room spins, would actually be deemed smart.
Compared to Obama, Goofy would of had a PhD. (Okay...lame)
Obama campaign ad that claims Romney raises taxes on the middle class by $2000. That number is based on the assumption IF Obama can extend the Bush Tax Cuts for the middle class.
Romney wouldnt be President until January 20, 2013. Even if Romney wins, he couldnt extend the lower rates, the Bush Tax Cuts expire in December, 2012.
Also, Obamas plan only offers the tax cut for 1 year for the middle class. After that, the middle class do get an increase they claim is being done only by Romney.
As my folks always said, consider the source.
And what I consider of Willie Brown is not fit for polite company.
Liberals, even more so than normal people, see happening what they want to be happening. They predict as what will happen that which they want to happen.
I am sick of living in a country where half the people worship the leader and disdain the law. A country like that is not a Republic.
I posted this because I think Willie has a reason for writing the column. Read between the lines. Look also at the comments following it.
We’re still weeks away from the election and I believe that:
* pundits have already written columns describing what BO did wrong and what he should have done, and how evil it was that Romney won;
* BO’s family is making plans to move to HI or somewhere else (where?); and
* the lawsuits alleging discrimination, hate crimes and voter suppression are already being drafted.
History has proven that ignorant people will do ignorant things, like selecting leaders who would not be otherwise selected. The job of the main stream media is to keep the masses ignorant.....
many people drink alot and dont know the true facts
With a beautiful blonde girlfriend .
O”Bumbler hasn't posted a true approval rating above fifty percent in almost three years. As a matter of fact he is often below forty five. The economy is bad and getting worse. Several major companies have already announced more than 250,000 MORE job cuts, and this tool thinks O’Bumbler is a shoe in.
I would not be surprised if Romney took forty states! Look at the over sampled polls. Democrats are at a low water mark for registration while Republicans have never had more registered voters. Yet, the polls always sample 42 - 45% Democrat against 30% Republican.
O’Bumbler is toast. His internals have him in WI for K rist sake.
Short-sighted wishful thinking there, don’t ya think? First of all, whether anything changes with the economy is not really the point. The point is that as we draw nearer to the election, more and more people will begin to really focus on the issues, the economy being #1.
I recommend that the Obama’s move to either Libya, Syria, or Egypt. They should feel right at home in any of those hell holes.
Willie sounds worried, and that’s a good omen for Romney.
In other news from Bizzaro World. . .
Obama has inherited his fathers anti colonial politics. He will make sure the next Supreme court Justice is liberal and our guns will vaporize
If Romney wins we will still have a mess but a capitalist will be president
Willie Brown is the reason we voted in Term Limits...
“Take a look at the polls: Romney just can’t sell himself. In fact, the more you see of the guy, the less you are willing to buy.”
Take a look at the polls: the lame-stream has to over-sample Dims at more than the 2008 turnout level to get Zero in the lead.
You forgot to add the title of Hack Politician.
“In fact, the more you see of the guy, the less you are willing to buy.”
This is true of both candidates. The deciding factor will be which one is responsible for the current mess.
I completely agree with you. It’s sad to say,but I also think that it is meant for Obama to win. Believe me when I say that I would take a homeless person over Obama any day. But the sad truth is that the world is corrupt now and most people are being deceived by the Devil. So that is why they will most likely re-elect Obama. I don’t even want to think of what we are headed for. God help us.
Thank you. Wow.
