Memo that prompted Pentagon to purge ‘Offensive to Islam’ material released

Posted on 09/23/2012 9:37:55 PM PDT by neverdem

The Thomas More Law Center (TMLC), a national public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, announced late last week that it is representing U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Dooley, a 1994 Graduate of the U. S. Military Academy at West Point and released the letter sent by 57 Muslim groups demanding the removal of military instructions that they say is offensive to Islam.

In April 2012, LTC Dooley, a highly decorated combat veteran, was publically condemned by General Martin Dempsey, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and relieved of his teaching assignment because of the negative way Islam was portrayed in an elective course entitled, “Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism” the release said.

The actions against LTC Dooley, an instructor involved with this elective, follow a letter to the Department of Defense dated October 19, 2011 and finally released and was signed by 57 Muslim organizations, demanding that all training materials that they judge to be offensive to Islam be “purged” and instructors “are effectively disciplined.”

Richard Thompson, President and Chief Counsel of the Thomas More Law Center commented, “We are privileged to represent Lieutenant Colonel Dooley. He has honorably served his Nation for 18 years and effectively carried out every assigned mission with distinction. He served as Aide- de- Camp to three different General Officers and deployed to Bosnia, Kuwait, and Iraq for a total of six operational and combat tours. During that time, he received numerous awards and decorations. Now after a lifetime of service to his country, he is being sacrificed on the altar of political correctness and expediency by the Army he so loyally served and loves.”

Thompson also stated, “In order to appease Muslims and the White House, General Dempsey and the Department of Defense rushed to punish LTC Dooley..."

A country’s government FOLLOWS its religion. A country with a tyrannical, unmerciful dictator for a God, and a people with no internal self government, will have tyrants and dictators for their government form.

Our country IS Christian because its FORM is Christian. The three unique aspects all written into our constitution:

2)Separation of Powers,
3)Dual Form (Senate to represent the States and House to directly represent the people)

The combination of these three were unique in history. They were inspired straight from scripture as it was studied by Locke, Montesquieu and our Colonial Founding Fathers. No other country has had all three of those unique characteristics, although other Western Christian nations have had 2 of the 3, or in a very few cases had three but in not as clear cut a form.

People who argue that our country is not a Christian nation because either:
1) our people are not all Christians, or
2), not all the founding fathers were Christians (even though most of them were),

are missing the point.

We have a Biblical FORM of government, and this form only works if most of the people are Christian and practice self government, honor and obey God and have a conscience that causes them to practice internal self control.

I learned these principles in a wonderful online course that I’m taking with my daughter:

Is the TMLC suing? Has LTC Dooley been charged with a crime? What does the “discipline” consist of?

“People with low intelligence (because of inbreeding) might also be easier to brainwash with fundamentalist Islam.”

And anyone who has looked into the issue of Islam/Middle Eastern consanguinity knows they’re definitely LONG on people with low intelligence. Generations of cousins marrying cousins is NOT good for the gene pool.

Global prevalence of consanguinity

Coincidence? I don't think so.

I read the letter signed by the 57 Muslim groups. What they stated was the truth about their belief system — I’ll not dignify Islam by calling it a “religion.” IMHO, Islam is a 1400 year old murderous death cult — an organized criminal enterprise! Islam represents a clear and present danger to the entire world!

Those classes about Islam were telling the truth! And Islam has prevailed over the truth by forcing their suspension!

I recently sent my list an email with a link to Pat Condell’s videos ( I have not watched them all, but I am going to.

The problem is, Romney and Ryan and the GOP haven’t watched them, and most Americans haven’t, either.

Don’t know how to get them to go viral, but I am damn sure going to try.

On the subject of murderous death cults, you might be interested in perusing this site: which contains, among other articles, a series of papers entitled “An Ethical Basis for War” which I found to be very informative and quite FRightening. (

Read them — you will not be sorry you did!

I also sent this video to my list — you fer shure need to watch it, if you have not already done so:

The bottom line is that we must somehow cause non-Moslems to come to understand that Moslems mean to subjugate, enslave, or kill all of us non-Moslems. Not only the West is at risk — the entire world is at risk!

Pat Condell is not a Christian, and he has not much good to say about Jesus Christ or the Bible. He is a secularist and believes it to be an ideal life philosophy, guided by his own reason and completely ignoring religious text or guidance of any kind.

I watched his first five YouTubes and decided not to subscribe to his channel in spite of his criticism of the mozlimbs.

Fox News was saying that the polls have been weighted to the results of the 2008 election which scewed heavily Democratic since their was a huge number of Democrats who voted.

Well, thank you for watching his videos. I hope you took away his message that we cannot and must not trust ANY Moslem.

Christian or not, what he has to say makes a lot of sense.

I am reminded that one does not have to be Christian to have a firm grasp of the obvious.

Indeed. His message about the Islamists is clear and it makes sense. About secularism... eh... But I am glad that I heard what he had to say about Islam. And I have not trusted any moslim since hearing about taqiyya. Knowing the Islamic tenet of taqiyya, no sane person would ever believe any moslim again, ever, about anything.

I have no problem with a secularist touting its virtues, but he has no call to criticize and tear down Catholicism and Christianity. That does not make secularism more attractive at all. One does not win anyone over with that tactic.

It’s almost as if he’s saying that Christians are just as wrong as Islamists. But of course, there is a whole world of difference between the two. For just one example of many, Christians do not impale people on sticks.

I rest my case if you have to reach back to the fifteenth century to find one.

You need only find a recent YouTube video to find moslims doing it. No, I don’t have the link, and I’m sorry I watched it and do not recommend anyone’s watching it.

What leads you to believe that Vlad the Impaler was a follower of Christ?

Matthew 7
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 ¶ Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

John 8
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

A sincere follower of Christ would be just like his master; Jesus was no murderer.
