Romney to @emilyabc: "I can't imagine saying something like the assassination of ambassadors is a bump in the road."
Also, Romney spoke to CBS News' Jan Crawford:
In intv, Romney hits Obama on "bumps in the road," tells me "its pretty clear the WH jumped the gun" in casting Libya attack as unplanned.
THIS is how you win an election!!!
TAKING IT TO THE MARXIST!
He might as well have said Dead Americans Are Only Speed Bumps in my vision for a new Middle East.
Bump in the road was NOT a gaffe..this is how Obama TRULY feels about our country. When Obama doesn’t have his teleprompter telling him what to say he reveals the REAL Obama, the one who hates Jews, the one who hates Capitalism, the one who hates white people, etc etc..this is the REAL Obama, he is NOT incompetent. I could deal with incompetence, it would mean he isn’t doing this on purpose, he just doesn’t know what he’s doing, I’d rather have that than this..Obama knows full well what he is doing, he just didn’t mean for it to slip out last night
Why didn't he get really graphic and call them" Body Bumps in the Road".....
I'll bet his opinion of the Electorate in this country isn't much better....
I so wish American voters would pay attention to this very important topic. When (if) they finally pull heads out of their collective asses will we hear Ross Perot’s “giant sucking sound?”
He meant that running over the body a dead ambassador is just like a “bump in the road”.
Somewhat like somebody being “under the bus”.
Romney: Bumps in the road? We had an ambassador assassinated, we had the muslim brotherhood elected president in Egypt
Romney: These are not bumps in the road, these are human lives."
Dear Mitt,KEEP IT UP!”Both Barrels”from now til Nov.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"A Bump in the Road" - 0bama
Calling Clarify Team ,Obama gaffe CBS
MITT ROMNEY READ MY RAGE MONKEY CARTOON #8!!!!
(Well, maybe not. But he SHOULD)
(I actually heard his staffers do scour a few forums, FR, RedState, HillBuzz to name a few)
The road to socialism is a bit bumpy at times so it's not unexpected to lose a few eggs. No big deal.
I don’t like the job approval jump in Gallup, but the overall voting numbers are good.
In addition, Ras has the race within one-point today again and is great because the leaners are now moving back toward Romney again after being more tilted toward Obama the past couple days.
We are still in good shape to win as long as the ads and visits to swing states make an impact there, not to mention the debates.
Provided you come up with a reason to vote for you via plans, which is what he is starting to do now and will likely accelerate during the debates, which should be good for us. I think we are in good shape at the end of the day.
Yes. This is how you win. Get the sound bite out there and force them to respond to it. Then it will get some play.
I pray they do, Laz.
From FR, to God's ear, to Romney's staffers ;)
'Mean-spirited Mean Mr. Romney picking on the Chosen Won ... uncalled for meanness from the cold hearted Mr. Romney...'
12;06;04 PA: First, Governor thanks for your time; we appreciate it. We will be back here in Denver nine days from now just six weeks until this election. Polls show you are trailing in pretty much every battleground state, are you feeling some pressure going up against a popular incumbent? 12;06;17 MR: I think this is an election about a choice between two different paths. We watched 60 Minutes last night as a nation, people saw the Presidents path forward, they saw the things I would do and we have very different views on foreign policy and a domestic policy. The president characterized as bumps in the road- the developments of the Middle East, we just had an ambassador assassinated. Egypt has elected a Muslim brotherhood or person as president. Iran is on the cusp of having nuclear capability. We have Tumult in Syria and also Pakistan and I dont consider these bumps in the road, I think this is a time for American leadership domestically; the presidents policies are a continuation of the past four years. We cant afford 4 more years like the last 4 years.
12;07;02 PA; Governor, in your heart of hearts do you genuinely believe that President Obama, when he referred to bumps in the road and was not deeply-
Perhaps a better way to put it, is do you genuinely believe in your heart of hearts that President Obama wasnt deeply saddened by the loss of 4 American lives in Libya that he was speaking more widely about policy in that region not about the loss of lives that took place there at the consulate and embassy.
12;07;23 MR: When the president was speaking about bumps in the road he was talking about the developments in the middle east and that includes an assassination, it includes a Muslim brotherhood individual becoming President of Egypt. It includes Syria being in tumult; it includes Iran being on the cusp of having nuclear capability. It includes Pakistan being in commotion. There are extraordinary events going on in the Middle East and considering those events either one of them or all of them collectively as bumps in the road shows a person who has a very different perspective about world affairs and the perspective I have. I think this is a time for American to exert leadership and this is not something that we are doing in the Middle East and frankly the course we are on also domestically has left so many people behind, I think we have to take a very different course than the course that has been followed over the last 4 year
The late Ambassador Stevens was simply one broken egg in the omelet.
Hit the bastard every day. Every day Romney and Ryan should ask the press why they have not asked Obama a question. Todays question would be: Do you consider 4 dead Americans bumps in the road?
Romney needs to keep this up.
Only Obama and his MuzBro overlords would call the rape and assassination of a U.S. ambassador a bump in the road.
Funny how the liberal media doesn’t want to talk about the fact that Ambassador Stevens was raped before he was murdered.
Did he say it is a bump in the road or he is a bump in the road (now). See like Clinton, it all depends on what the meaning “is” is.
Romney — hit at the fact that obama is doing lighthearted interviews on Lettermen and the View as the world burns.
Excellent work. Ping Drudge.
And this will be reported as Romney’s latest “gaffe”.
You do not call American lives “bumps in the road” or “noise” unless you are a cold scurvy hearted individual.
I don’t see how even the state run media can downplay/defend this?
The media doesn’t even acknowledge that Ambassador Stevens was murdered much less raped. I watched tv all weekend - and there was not one mention of this poor man’s name. I was steaming!
How this Administration can enable a filthy murder and still manage to throw the victim under the bus is beyond me.
Selfish, uncaring, egotistical... I could go on...
I guess they’ve been whipped long enough as a draft horse -— I dunno....seems like they’re starting to just “phone it in”.....BUT, they still advertise and promote those horribly sampled polls that are coming out constantly to show Obama has it won....BS (with a bold S and a double spit).
Tonight, CBS aired a 60 Minutes interview with President Obama.
But curiously enough, the news magazine show did not air a clip of Obama admitting to interviewer Steve Kroft that some of his campaign ads contain mistakes and that some even "go overboard." ...
"Look, the fact-checkers have had problems with the ads on both sides," Kroft says to Obama in the unaired clip, "and say they've been misleading and in some cases just not true. Does that disturb you? I mean, some of them are your ads."
Obama responds: "Do we see sometimes us going overboard in our campaign, are there mistakes that are made, areas where there is no doubt somebody could dispute how we are presenting things?
Barack Hussein Obama II went on (my paraphrasing) to say:
"But tuh election is so important and.... I am Barack!"
Jean F-the-Army- Kerry said that we’d just have to accept a “negligible” amount of terrorism.
This is what happens when you elect liberal Democrats.
Very well stated on Romney’s part, and he didnt back down. This is a very positive sign.
Also admitting on Dave Letterman that he had no idea what the current deficit is, or cares.
Well done, Mitt Romney, WELL DONE.
President Kardashian was sans teleprompter and his true feelings came out.
In thus context, I wonder if 0 would then clarify that the assassination of the ambassador was not “legitimate?”
- Plan on Hussein II having a mini ear-mike for the debates
- He will not fly blind.....
- JFK used notes that were not allowed in the debate with Nixon
Keep it up, Mitt!
—— “its pretty clear the WH jumped the gun” in casting Libya attack as unplanned. ——
judge by his actions, oh yes his actions were to go to Vegas, ,party with a rapper and a singer, sleep whilst the attacks were happening, go on late shows and the view.
Yep a minor speed bump to his massive election fraud coming up.
