Now it appears that the “safe house” where Stevens and others were supposed to find security during the attack was a treasure trove of CIA and State Department information on efforts to recover MANPADS and the identities of local nationals who were working on our behalf.

The "safe house" was reported to be just a regular house with no security and no defense other than the mistaken belief that it was indeed secret and unknown.

Doesn't sound like the kind of place knowledgeable, competent professionals would store important intelligence information.

But then we are talking about the Obama administration and the Clinton State Dept.

This is appalling. The 2 former Seals who were murdered were probably going ballistic over what they were seeing.

An intelligence treasure trove in an unsecured house. This isn’t even done in the movies. Even movie directors know that a safe house has to have something....booby traps, document destruction capabilities...something.

Absolutely amazing incompetence.
