Jeb Bush Working on Book about Immigration
Latino Fox News ^ | Sep 22 2012 | Latino Fox News

Posted on 09/24/2012 8:58:56 PM PDT by WilliamIII

A hot button issue in the upcoming elections and one of the most contentious topics in the Republican Party is also the subject of former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush. Bush has started work on a book about immigration and landed a deal with Threshold Editions, a conservative imprint of Simon & Schuster, for "Immigration Wars: Forging An American Solution." Threshold announced Wednesday that the book is scheduled for next spring and will be co-authored by conservative attorney and activist Clint Bolick. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Drawing upon history and American ideals, Jeb Bush and Clint Bolick outline a courageous and comprehensive strategy to bridge the partisan divide and set our nation's immigration policy on a just and rational course," Threshold said in a statement. "The book will present a comprehensive solution based on two core principles: Immigration is vital to America's future, fueling its growth, vibrancy and creativity; yet any true and enduring solution must adhere to the rule of the law." The 59-year-old ex-governor has been urging his fellow Republicans to take on a more moderate tone on immigration, saying hard-line policies have led to lost elections. Bush himself was elected twice in a state with a substantial Hispanic population.

Should be a big seller among the illegal alien crowd. Something for them to read while hiding “in the shadows”. Sorry Jeb. I’m not seeing a best seller here.

Oh, this piggy little Bush just makes me SICK.

Somebody write a book on how the BUSH females can't make their beds or walk their dogs without an illegal alien cleaning up after them.

Let me write a book about LAZY good for nothing, Republican Texas women who can barely wipe their slothful behinds, much less cook and clean for their own children without a squad of non-English-speaking slaves.

Lazy slatterns. Bar can't cook for her huge brood, so she gets slaves to do it for her, which may explain with GW speaks good Spanish but can't get a sentence in English correct. Laura has to lie around reading novels and can't even take Scottie for a walk. The twins loves them some abortions and same-sex marriages because they so want an evening in Hyannis Port.( Read Lazy Laura's bio if you don't believe me.) Leave us alone. Go away, Bushes.

NO MORE BUSHES

Seems that some in the MSM are wishing for a Jeb Bush 2016 run. F**K THAT!!!! If he’s ever the nominee, I’ll switch to Independent and write off the GOP.

IMHO, if the GOP blows this I agree with Laura Ingraham...shut down the GOP!!! Useless as teets on a bull.
I sense a good chunk of the GOP rank-and-file will revolt in one manor or another.

The only people keeping me in the party are West, Cruz, DeMint and PALIN.

So he married a Latina and knows it all and thinks it all doesn't matter...let them all in....culture is relative...don;t worry they are Catholics..or my favorite...when they hit middle class they will change...really?..well blacks sure as hell didn't

Well I slept with more Latinas than I care to admit here (lots) and married one...gorgeous but crazy.

most minority immigrants are and vote leftist because it is manna held out for them and they are brainwashed to be victims as minorities

allowing them to flood in here has killed us’

it is why Obama is “tied” or better even though he is an abysmal failure

these people are voting for him by at least 70% because he is one of them...a MINORITY...skin, religion whatever

it's all one big anti white and anti Christian and anti traditional dreadnought beating the snot out of us

"Fox News Latino" says it all. It's bad enough that Fox/Fox News pushes homosexuality to school children with 'Glee', but Fox News Latino is promoting ABC's Modern Family which also promotes homosexuality. Not enough homosexuality in Glee, you gotta find other networks homosexual shows to promote?

As for the book, I bet he'll have plenty of input from his brother, Jorge Arbusto, as well as Juan McAmnesty.

Bush, McCain, and now Romney have all but ensured I'm done with the GOP, and I'm going to laugh really hard if ole Jeb gets the nomination or runs against Billary.

Reminds me of this page: Bush Clinton Forever!.

I just can't wait to lay out my shrunken Obama dollars for this book.....NOT!

Note all Jeb Bush's liberal buzz-phrases in the above preview of the former governor's forthcoming tome:

".....need a courageous and comprehensive strategy"

".....bridge the partisan divide"

".....a just and rational course"

".....vibrancy and creativity"

".....take on a more moderate tone."

".....need a broader approach"

".....have to have a better tone going forward"

Note also the innate arrogance, the phony flights of oratory, the condescension, the digs that the amnesty thinking of us potato-faced peasants is NOT vibrant, creative, broad, rational, courageous or willing to bridge divides....and that our "tone" sucks.

What gives these self-appointed aristocrats the presumption to talk like this to us ???

Some may call it authoritative leadership, I call it self-perceived elitism and just plain gall.

Jeb Bush:

"We've got to have a better tone going forward over the long haul for sure. You can't ask people to join your cause and then send a signal that you're really not wanted. It just doesn't work."

= = = = =

Good grief.

Better tone?

How about first enforcing the laws already on our books?

I can see it now and I can see where it is going.

Not really interested, Jeb. Bet he does not have a G-D thing to say about, or interview with, the LEGAL IMMIGRANTS to the United States who stood in line and paid and did everything right. Those from Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and elsewhere. It's alllllll going to be about accomodating the hissssssssspaniccccs. Just you watch. And FIXING our system is code for AMNESTY. No way around it. That is their "fix" of the system. Not buying it, compadre Senor Yeb.

Hey Bush - I get it. We've got jobs all over the place and not enough people to fill them... so yeah, bring 'em all over ... that's what we need - more friggin' people to compete with for the few jobs out there.

Bush needs to spend his time 'helping' someone else - maybe an American or two for a change.

Somebody’s got to come up with a policy, or things will just limp along as they are - from one Democrat election year amnesty to the next. Glad Bush , who has the freedom of not running for anything right now, has the courage to put forward his ideas and take away one of the Dems’ favorite weapons.

In a narcissistic smugness contest between Jeb “Amnesty” Bush and Jon “China” Huntsman, Bush would win hands down.

If only the great unwashed Tea Partiers would learn the errors of their ways and accept these “leaders” as benevolent dictators.

Bonus question: Other than party affiliation, what would be the difference between having Obama, Jeb, or Huntsman as President?

Answer: Different levels of competence but all pursuing exact same agenda.

Yeah, really. Read LB’s autobiography and find out what she really thinks of conservatives. This is what makes so many RINOs—it’s the wives. It’s why we got that Bush amnesty pushed on us.
