What makes you so sure he's lying? I think it's just as likely Chick-fil-A is trying to have its cake and eat it too.
Look, Cathy and Chick-fil-A and put and end to this he-said-he-said and if they really haven't made a change in their giving plan, they should donate to Focus on the Family or whatever other "hate group" had been singled out.
Chicago's Logan Square area isn't worth the fall out if Chick-fil-A is seen as having abandoned "family values" in light of the support they got.
I think the politician is a bastard for suggesting a company is conducting its business in an illegal way because of donations he doesn't like. He better be careful of legal blowback for his intimidation racket.
What a bunch of Bravo Sierra, and a cheap attempt at intimidation.
He stated specifically that he is committed to marriage between a man and a woman. If you do not like it....even though he shows no bias towrds who he hires or serves...take your business elsewhere.
He and his non-profit have every right to support whomever they choose, irrespective of your progressive efforts...and your clear bias and attempt to arm twist him and Chick-Fil-A.
I support Chick-Fil-A and eat there now more than I have done in the past ten years.
The people in America have already shown where their sentiments lay, and Mr. Cathy, who is a good business =man and who wants to maiximize the positive impact to his business and share holders is going to hold the line as a result.
God for him. Bravo I say!

CFA has been clear, the alderman just doesn’t like the answer.
Alderman, kiss my @ss.
I ate a grilled chicken sandwich and an order of chicken strips at my local Chick-Fil-A today to spite you.
Until what “things” are clear? Sounds like politician bafflegab.
T’would appear so, my friend...
Good to see people standing by their convictions and principles. Walking the walk that they talk, so to speak.
Need more of it.
Did Mrs Moreno’s “partner” put her up this. In not, why is throwing such a hissy fit?
“...Did Mrs Morenos partner put her up this. In not, why is throwing such a hissy fit?...”
You know, I have no clue...but I’ll bet you’re not far off.
It’s typical, part of the war against Christianity going in this country.
The Chick-Fil-A owner is a much better man than I am...I would just tell the deviants and their democrat sycophants to go F*** themselves and get a normal life.
Doesn't work that way in Chicago. The Alderman's opponent will most likely be another Marxist Democrat. Republicans only run candidates in about a dozen wards, and only about 4 or 5 of THOSE candidates make it thru the run-off election and get on the general election ballot in November. That being said, I suppose it would be possible to defeat Moreno with another liberal Democrat who's not a fascist. Heck, even Barney Frank has said government has no business telling Chick-Fil-A they can't operate their company. It would be hilarious if Moreno lost to some openly gay RAT who has a "live and let live" attitude about Chick-Fil-A.
Hey, go FK yerself you jerkoff.
You put up these so called letters you bully.
I think you are full of crap.
That right thar is extortion, plain as day. Al Capone couldn't have said it any better.
Chick-fil-A could build in the center of the hook, outside the Alderman's control, but with easy access for most of the people in his ward...
Oh gosh. His facebook page announced that he got “engaged” today.

Just another degenerate sodomite who will die from cancer of the anus if he doesn’t stop his perverted sexual practices and get right with the Lord.
How many companies would Moreno bitch about if they give to organizations that support political agendas such as gay marriage?
What exactly IS an “Alderman”?
In the United States
“Board of Aldermen” is the governing executive or legislative body of many cities and towns in the United States. The term is sometimes used instead of city council, but it can also refer to an executive board independent of the council, or to what is essentially an upper house of a bicameral legislature (as it was in New York City until the 20th Century). Its members are called “Alderman” or “Alderwoman”,[8] while in the State of Wisconsin, the gender neutral term “Alderperson” is officially used. Some cities, such as Chicago, mix the two terms, thereby having a city council composed of aldermen. Some states such as Pennsylvania established aldermen in the 19th century to serve as local judges for minor infractions. Pennsylvania’s aldermen were phased out in the early 20th century. In this manner depending on the jurisdiction an alderman could have been part of the legislative or judicial local government. Boards of Aldermen are used in many rural areas of the United States as opposed to a larger city council or city commission.

Ok, I'll play. Did the company or employees ever do otherwise?
