I have no idea how diplomatic protocol works, but I can’t imagine why KT McFarland would mention this if there wasn’t something to it.
In any event, Romney will have ample opportunity to meet with foreign leaders after Jan. 20th.

I think she may have a point.... Most foreign leaders are loath to get involved in American politics and probably would not like to be perceived as taking sides....
if they meet only with the new president elect to be ....it would look like they did....
Romney wisely did not ask them to cross that line...
Btw, I was that " president elect to be" on liberal blogs...drives the moon bat absolutely crazy...
