In 1941 the former ambassador to Russia, Joseph E. Davies, wrote a book titled Mission to Moscow.

He wrote that the communist leaders were “a group of able, strong men with honest convictions and integrity of purpose”

He said the communism was based on “same principle of brotherhood of man that Jesus preached”

Describing Stalin: “His brown eyes are exceedingly kind & gentle. A child would like to sit in his lap and a dog would sidle up to him.”

Maybe we could dig up the old habit of England when they would dig up dead dictators (Oliver Cromwell) and hang them!

What a dreadful quote.
