The New Oxford High School Marching band’s show will no longer be called “St. Petersburg: 1917″ and the performance will no longer include the hammers and sickles, according to a statement from Rebecca Harbaugh, the superintendent for the Conewago Valley School District.

If you are in a hurry look at 2:15, 4:15, and 7:15. Prepare to be amazed that this was at a public school. The Cleburne Texas high marching band. This Jesus themed act from a small town won state in the late 80s. Today our government would immediately assault this school with ruinous litigation.

Good lord, what is WRONG with people? The hammer and sickle is a symbol of oppression, murder, genocide and the full sum of human misery. The evil it represents is as at least as vile as the Nazi swastika.

Thank good this could NEVER happen at my ‘wonderful’ public school. The people there are so upstanding, such great members of the community. No, they would NEVER have a Leftist thought in their bones.
