EU officials are privately alarmed at the chilling effect that a Mitt Romney win in the US presidential election could have on global climate talks, EurActiv has learned.

Although the Republican candidate is trailing President Barack Obama in the polls, his oft-stated doubts about a link between greenhouse gas emissions and climate change have led to “concern” at cabinet level, one source said.

Speaking last October, Romney said: “My view is that we don’t know what is causing climate change on this planet and the idea of spending trillions and trillions of dollars to try and reduce CO2 emissions is not the right course for us.” …

“It will be a completely different way of looking at climate change if he is elected,” one senior EU official told EurActiv. “It will change the conversation, definitely.” …

Amazing that these would-be dictator bureauRats in Europe have a complete financial meltdown and continental misery, mass suicide and civil war on their doorstep, yet they still cry over the naturally fluctuating temperature of the planet. Priorities?

A lot of the freeloader nations were expecting to clean up bigtime with the “global cooling/global warming/climate change” schemes. America was going to be their big piggy bank.

The EU just wants us to spend ourselves into the same toilet they are in. Ignore them and move on!

I like Romney more and more as I learn more about him.

This is a crucial issue, and he’s on the right side of it.

My thought was that they are not really thinking this through. If Romney is elected, there will be money pouring in to help them overcome any Romney efforts to stop the global warming scam.

Don’t worry Euroweinies, when Romney’s elected he’ll find a reason to acknowledge Global Warming in less than 24 months. It will take the sheer will of conservatives to prevent the money suction from cranking into high gear.

You can spot all the Lefties: They all got the memo the same day that required then to use “Climate Change” instead of “Global Warming”!

It happened around the winter of ‘09 when it was cold as hell everywhere on the planet, and they had to come up with new terminology!

And Whamo -— “Climate Change”!

Romney campaign stirs climate unease in Brussels

I know how they feel -- his potential position on "climate change" stirs unease in me too.
