All I can say, is this guy is talking perhaps some of the most vile and despicable things a guy can say. We’re all American. Does he think that somehow Blacks shouldn’t think themselves American because their president isn’t a mulatto like Obama? It’s rediculous, and what’s worse is that Obama’s trashing of the economy hurts the very people who like him so much.
Or otherwise stated -
If Obama wins again, how can he assure me (straight, white, Euro-American male, Christian/non Muslim, tax payer ect.) that he will be MY president.

Meanwhile, on a brighter note I have a very dear friend who I never discuss politics with because she’s an old-school Democrat and up until about two months ago wouldn’t even CONSIDER not voting for Obama. I ran into her this evening and she said she’d had it- she was done. What changed her mind? She’s shocked the president went to Las Vegas after the terrorist attack in Libya and what REALLY frosted her was his going on The View.
Go figure- you never know what will be the tipping point for someone- but she’s voting for Romney!

No, I'm sick of their attitude. During the Chick Fil-A thing, I got into it with a couple of black employees at a local Sally Beauty Supply store; the two women broke into a private conversation I was having to let me know I was intolerant to homosexuals because they heard me say I'd been to Chick Fil-A. I had just bought a few items, and after a, shall we say, spirited conversation, I threw them on the counter and told them to give me my money back, that they had a hell of a lot to learn when it came to customer service and good manners. So no, I don't shy away from it.
Incidentally, I was talking to a cashier at Sam's Club, and we were saying Obama had to go. The black man in line behind me said, "You got THAT right!"

I just can't help but believe that ultimately Obama will have the same effect on the race industry (and liberalism as a whole for that matter) that Clinton had on feminism. Their silence during the toon's travails spoke volumes about the hollowness of their cause and all the vagina costumes on the planet haven't given them any regained relevance. I pray Obama will have a similar effect elsewhere.

Whew, It has dawned on me that “a lot of blacks” ARE pretty uppity. They are doctors, lawyers , engineers, servicemen, ASSIMILATED AND AMERICAN!! THEY also communicate in calm, and thoughtful use of language. Just because A PERSON, upsets you in the aisle, or at the conveniance store , you make a mental note of the OFFENSE and then grace us all with your intellect.
I must ask, did any one else , of any other race OFFEND you on or around the time these “blacks” offended you. I don’t expect an answer. What I do wish for , though, is that we don’t let our REACTIONS , to what may happen during our day, give a nasty taint to our attitudes. That would be the MOST backward looking result Oblah blah will have accomplished and I am sure , is one of his goals. You see , racial harmony is a terrifying prospect to those that require racial seperatism to succeed politically or economically. If this harmony exists then the old “whitey is keepin’ you down “ mantra evaporates like a fart in a hurricane.
So maybe you can see that “uppity blacks” is a poor choice of words born of a poorer still attitude and I pray that you would retract the former and correct the latter.

The only Pop Eye's I know of is in North Tulsa, OK. A predominately black area of Tulsa. I happened to be in town one afternoon...and stopped in. Walked up to the counter...as two black girl customers were talking to the counter girl. All were black...I stood there looking at the menu..and then looking at the girl. She didn't even acknowledge me...even the black girl customers sort of motioned that she should take my order.
She ignored them...then another black employee...motioned to her...that she should recognize me. And I could tell she was put-out..but she finally took my order.
I just think it's crazy....and sad. Obama has sent back race relations 50 - 60 years.............

IMO, that is going to be a difficult task for any administration. Blacks tend to congregate in the inner city where there are few, if any, jobs available. There are jobs available all over the U.S. in places such as the oil patch in North Dakota but they would have to relocate, be trained and be willing to work hard. As long as the benefits for not working come even close to what they can make working, there will be no reason for them to change. They are also competing for low skill jobs with illegals who are a whole lot more industrious.
Yep, the great uniter has turned out to be the most divisive force between blacks and whites I can recall.
I’ve seen the same thing you describe....blacks in service jobs ignoring whites, or being openly hostile to them, while looooovin’ all over their homies.

Increasingly, when I read the comment sections of news articles involving black-on-white crime, the anger is palpable. Fewer news sites are allowing comments for such articles, probably not a coincidence. More white folk are pissed off.
