CNN's Acosta to Romney: 'If You Somehow Win,' How Would You 'Assure Blacks You'd Be Their President
Newsbusters ^ | September 25, 2012

CNN's Jim Acosta on Tuesday's Situation Room asked what many will think was a truly offensive question.

"If you were to somehow beat the first African-American president, what would you say to the black community to assure them that you would be their president also?" (video follows with transcript and commentary):

I know Romney didn’t but he should have said, “Either you’re African or you’re American. If you’re African, I can never be your President.”

Mr. Acosta, that is the most racist thing I think I have ever read. Do actually believe that African-Americans are NOT Americans?

The President is the leader of all of the citizens of the Republic. Why in the hell would they need a special promise?

Well put. I can’t believe that he would even be asked that - it is outrageous!

That is the argument that eventually MUST be made loud and clear.

One cannot ‘refute’ or spin it without looking like an idiot. So why won’t any of them do it?

Cowards.

They were just baiting him, trying to get him to say something they could use in a political ad against him.
He didn't fall for it, but I would have liked to see him jump right down Acosta's throat with both feet.

Fair question for the Obamster.... Although he has the blind allegiance from the melanin wealthy of America, due to the hue of his skin, the 'Blacks' have suffered greater economic setbacks form the sitting pResident, than other hyphenated groups. Further, his policies (pro abortion, pro sodomite marriages) should also be anathema to the melanin rich...
Fairer question to Obambi than for Romney.

All I can say, is this guy is talking perhaps some of the most vile and despicable things a guy can say. We’re all American. Does he think that somehow Blacks shouldn’t think themselves American because their president isn’t a mulatto like Obama? It’s rediculous, and what’s worse is that Obama’s trashing of the economy hurts the very people who like him so much.

Or otherwise stated -

If Obama wins again, how can he assure me (straight, white, Euro-American male, Christian/non Muslim, tax payer ect.) that he will be MY president.

So far, he has not.

Another day, another OUTRAGEOUS MEDIA BIAS MOMENT.

Meanwhile, on a brighter note I have a very dear friend who I never discuss politics with because she’s an old-school Democrat and up until about two months ago wouldn’t even CONSIDER not voting for Obama. I ran into her this evening and she said she’d had it- she was done. What changed her mind? She’s shocked the president went to Las Vegas after the terrorist attack in Libya and what REALLY frosted her was his going on The View.

Go figure- you never know what will be the tipping point for someone- but she’s voting for Romney!

Nothing to see here...
