Joint STARS aircraft undergoing work at a contractor facility may have been sabotaged.

A tersely worded statement issued by Robins Air Force Base on Tuesday indicated that workers at Northrup Grumman’s Lake Charles, La., facility have discovered severed wires on an E-8C jet.

“To ensure the integrity of the maintenance process, we are working with Northrop Grumman to get to the root cause,” the statement added. “The matter is currently under investigation and more details will be released as they become available.”

Or hire liberals.

In ANY job. I get awful confused sometimes. People (not you, just speaking generally) who shout that ‘actions have consequences’ get all upset when I say that. But don’t the actions that make up being a liberal have consequences too? And most important of all, shouldn’t they be held to them?

Why should employers willingly provide the means and money for those who want them either put out of business or ruled by unions?

I heard that wasn’t a hired hand. Granny just decided the (priceless, historical, one-of-a-kind, centuries-old masterpiece) artwork needing some “touching up” and so, proactively, but without permission (or any other such formality) just whipped out the paint and starting “repairing” it.

Yes. She took it upon herself to ruin restore the fresco. She was not hired. She was not asked. She was not given permission.

But it gets worse. There's been a surge of visitors to the church, which has started charging a €1 fee for people to come see it, so as to raise money for a proper restoration. And guess what? The lady who ruined restored the thing is asking for royalties from what the church is raising, arguing that she's responsible for their income.

*sigh*

They could start by finding out how many American Islamoterrorists have clearances to work on the planes.

...and immediately remove them from all suspicion, freeing up resources to search for the real saboteurs. /S

OTOH, the way the upper echelons are pandering, maybe that is closer to the truth than it is to sarcasm.

Based on my experience, probably pissed off contractor. Doesn't have to be a Northrop Grumman employee, there can be quite a few contractors that are involved.

You'd be surprised how many people who get upset at their bosses or companies for one reason or another, think they are being cute by clipping some wires or mysteriously "losing" some parts when putting something back together.

They know if it's discovered, it'll cost their employer some big bucks or a big headache, or both, and in two instances I'm very familiar with, they were quite certain that ultimately it would not endanger any lives. In both instances it didn't endanger anybody's lives, but only because on the military side of things, some sharp mechanics caught the problems.

Think of it as an expensive version of somebody spitting in the food at a fast food joint.
