Absolute garbage written by a moron.
Your numbers are much better than mine, by half. Panic off.
An estimated 41 million people have already died this year globally. If that keeps up it could be as much as 900 million from now until 2030.
“...said the report conducted by humanitarian organisation DARA.”
Another press release, printed verbatim by their propaganda outlet, the LSM, without the smallest modicum of critical analysis by a poverty pimp “organization” that makes money from scaremongering.
I am no statistician but I am pretty sure at least 100 million people will die over the next 18 years.
According to the CIA World Factbook, as of July, 2005, there were approximately 6,446,131,400 people on the planet, and the death rate was approximately 8.78 deaths per 1,000 people a year. According to our nifty desktop calculator, that works out to roughly 56,597,034 people leaving us every year. That’s about a 155,000 a day.
A lot will die if we don’t do anything either except perhaps grow too old to live any longer.
Would this climate change folks feel any better if the 100 million fell out of windows?
Then it’s certain that more than 200 million people will die during a second Obama term. ;-)
100 million. Roughly the same number that collectivism has actively slain in the last century.
And why is the Left worried about it? They love death.
Hell, 100 milion will die of old age by then.
AGW is the distraction from needed excuses for the failed 70’s predictions of the likes of Paul Ehrlich.
False prophets....Christ said there would be many in the latter days.
Here is the line in the sand.
No,here is the line.
No here is the line.
Now here is the line

“The Shifting Whispering Sands”.
I heard that there was a warning that anyone that ate beans and fought for the South in the Civil War would die.
Apparently, that prediction came true.
Your post was truly a stroke of genius.
Our only problem is that the clarity of your rebuttal simply won’t make it to the eyes and ears of most common people that can understand this.
It is laughable that socialist elite would not be able to grasp its simplicity.
For them, everything is necessarily complex, otherwise it isn’t the truth.
Obviously they haven’t gotten the memo from the depopulation leftist nutjobs.
Given enough time, we’ll all be dead.
Time to panic now, liberal idiots will.
Based on what, leftist fantasies?
More like their secret desires. Scratch a greenie, find a misanthrope.
Here is a link to a recent analysis from Cato that exposes the former fraud... The current scare-mongers will have their theories and assertions face similar exposure in time.
more than 932 million people will die worldwide by natural death rates regardless what people do to influence the death rate.
If only more than 100 million will die if we do nothing, then that is a sensible approach.
Here’s my response...
You Moslem idiots.
If’n youze don’t stopz your beligernts, we’ll stop sending grain.
You can have the $1.5 billion(it’s actually more)but, we’ll stop sending grain.
Stahve! Yuh Bastuhds!
We’ll win by attrition...
That should make the eco kooks very happy since they believe man is a blight and parasite on the precious Earth Mother and his numbers must be reduced to save her.
So let's lump it all together and call it climate change. Because we are a "humanitarian" group. We care. About money. Money for our sponsoring countries. Redistribution. All you rich carbon-intensive economies need to feel guilty and send us money.
Ironically, this would help ease the world population problem that liberals have been shrieking about since the 1970s.
I forecast that by 2112 over 6 billion people will die...for no real external reason at all.
Whatever will we do?
That’s what, 3% of the current world population? That many would die by then in any case.
Well, just make sure it includes all muslimes and democraps.
Perfect timing since Social Security will be depleted by then.
CIA World Fact book tells us that on average 8.37 people out of 1000 die each year.
Current Population Claims are 6,850,000,000 x 0.837% Equals 57,334,500 will die this year.
So in two years over 100 Million people will die if the planet doesn't heat up!
Quick everyone go buy a case of Hairspray and do your duty to save all those people!
“More than 100 million people will die .... by 2030.”
“More than 90 percent of those deaths will occur in developing countries....”
They say that like it’s bad news. There will be more food, less traffic, available beachfront property, more jobs and more cool stuff to go around.
Besides, the world is scheduled to end on December 21, 2012 at 11:11 UTC.
I don’t even have to Christmas shop this year.
Someone should tell them that is a reduction in the death rate, I fully expect at least that many people to die by 2030. If they didn’t die, something wonderful would have happened.
Liberals have to keep upping the ‘death’ ante to get attention. Are they totally lame or what?
Predictions from Earth Day 1970
“The world has been chilling sharply for about twenty years. If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but eleven degrees colder in the year 2000. This is about twice what it would take to put us into an ice age.” Kenneth Watt, Ecologist
“Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support the following predictions: In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half .” Life Magazine, January 1970
“Demographers agree almost unanimously on the following grim timetable: by 1975 widespread famines will begin in India; these will spread by 1990 to include all of India, Pakistan, China and the Near East, Africa. By the year 2000, or conceivably sooner, South and Central America will exist under famine conditions .By the year 2000, thirty years from now, the entire world, with the exception of Western Europe, North America, and Australia, will be in famine.” Peter Gunter, professor, North Texas State University
Earth Day 1970 provoked a torrent of apocalyptic predictions. Three decades later, of course, the world hasn’t come to an end; if anything, the planet’s ecological future has never looked so promising. With half a billion people suiting up around the globe for Earth Day 2000, now is a good time to look back on the predictions made at the first Earth Day and see how they’ve held up and what we can learn from them. The short answer: The prophets of doom were not simply wrong, but spectacularly wrong.
No wonder we have global warming. There isn't enough air pollution.
Based on the 2009 mortality rate figure of 8.37/1000/yr (published by CIA), 954,180,000 will die by 2030 in the normal course of things.
So, in other words:
The more that die the less there are the more beer for me.
