The Canadian delegation to the United Nations is walking out on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as he takes the podium to address the UN General Assembly.

The Iranian president, known for making an incendiary and anti-Semitic remarks on the UN stage, has just taken the podium before the annual gathering of world leaders, shortly after 11 a.m.

The American delegation didn't even show up... IE. They were absent, which means they didn't have to actually protest by leaving, which of course, is a much more serious protest. I guess your ambassador Rice was probably too scared to show up, because she’d probably sit there and listen to this evil incarnate spewing his hatred for the whole speech.

So typical of the U N to let this Jew-hater speak on Yom Kippur. Of course, no one can ever speak against Islam and its Pedophile Prophet.

I never thought I’d say it, but Canada is looking pretty good these days.

They have more economic freedom.

They have a pro-Western Civilization foreign policy.

They have lower corporate tax rates.

They allow energy companies to operate within reason

For me, counting as a ‘no show’ or else walking out don't really work as emphatic gestures.

This is the information age... right? Whatever this jerk says in whatever venue he chooses will be instantaneously, perpetually and globally disseminated.

Something much more dramatic and definitive must be done to demonstrate to these Muslim faux leaders that we in no way regard them as the equivalent of duly elected and responsible leaders whose agents and ambassadors, etc. in fact, speak for us and symbolize our policies and views!!

When Israel needs help in the near future, I look for Canada, the UK, and the rest of the Commonwealth to be a lot more dependable in that regard than the United States. Everybody knows it, especially Nutjob. Even with a Romney/Ryan victory in November, that still leaves a very dangerous window between now and January 20.

Love to have you guys, but the population of Canada is pretty anti-American (thanks to our media). You wouldn’t like it very much....at least in Ontario. Might be better out in Alberta, but we’re pretty much an Obamanation at the moment.

They went a little right and have largely dumped Trudeauist socialism, but the Cloward-Pivenites have taken America way Left in the same time-frame. Canada didn't change much - we did.

I agree. When I first moved to the Great White North for education purposes 20 years ago, I thought that Canada was a slightly troubled socialist state. Over two decades, it has moved somewhat further left on social issues and a fair bit rightward on economics. It is by no means perfect, but my reservations about applying for permanent residence status with a view of eventually becoming a citizen were being reduced gradually, and the present administration has managed to reduce all reservations to rubble. It isn’t so bad up here—come on in, the water’s frozen (only for part of the year).

I remember when Trudeau swept into power, much like Obama did in 2008. He was a communist and a hero to the masses plus a big fan of Castro. Trudeau screwed up Canada so bad that it took them two generations to get back to somewhat normal. 4 more years of what we have now will take two generations to correct as well.

“...“ expatriation down the road...”

Yeah, because running away from your own country and countrymen, instead of staying to fight for it, is just SOOOOOOOOO patriotic. That’s just SUCH an American tradition.

You don’t think it will follow you there?

They’re as close to being overrun by socialist liberals as we are. Probably even more so.

But hey...if running away is the way you want to go, be our guest.

The rest of us will stay here and fight for it. You can come back later, when it’s “safe”.

As a yank living up North—I think he is right where he belongs. He is a big enough man to handle Canada. I don’t think any politician living is big enough to dig the U.S. out in a tidy way. Sticking him in the U.S. wouldn’t solve the problems in the States, and would leave Canada in a lurch.

Allow him in our country? Heck, several years ago, he was supposed to “visit” Ground Zero in NYC.

We showed up and were willing to do whatever it took to NOT allow him to step one foot on that sacred ground.

It’s “visit” was cancelled.

And yes, all of us who showed up would have taken a bullet to prevent this a hole from stepping foot on Ground Zero.

Sickening, sad, pitiful, humiliating? There are no words that are strong enough to express how terrible I feel today, not just today but most days, about how horrible things have become under obastard. The stench of death is upon the United States.

When you come back from winning the keyboard wars, come to the 32208 area code under the Main street bridge and instruct me in this fighting spirit you speak of, Master Po...I'll make sure it's on YouTube so all the young grasshoppers can learn.

If General Washington appears, I will be the first to take a quill pen and sign up.

But if the world goes to hell in a handbasket, it might also be handy to have someone with the cruising sailboat that can come in and take people out, or bring things in, without flight plans or passenger manifests...capice?

Just think of Rhett Butler running the blockade in Gone with the Wind... Except older and uglier

The hunting there is outstanding. 400#+ whitetail deer. So many big black bear you could fill your house with rugs.

And in the offseason, you can cruise the muzzie protests and keep the sons of moo-ham-mad energized with Skittles™ delivered by wrist rocket.

Newfoundland is one place I would like to see. On 9-11 they took in all the incoming planes that I couldn’t land in the US due to the airspace shut down, and showed a lot of Americans hospitality in their own homes.

Besides, I heard that you haven’t lived until you’ve had a deep fried seal’s flipper.
