I never thought I’d say it, but Canada is looking pretty good these days.

They went a little right and have largely dumped Trudeauist socialism, but the Cloward-Pivenites have taken America way Left in the same time-frame. Canada didn't change much - we did.

I agree. When I first moved to the Great White North for education purposes 20 years ago, I thought that Canada was a slightly troubled socialist state. Over two decades, it has moved somewhat further left on social issues and a fair bit rightward on economics. It is by no means perfect, but my reservations about applying for permanent residence status with a view of eventually becoming a citizen were being reduced gradually, and the present administration has managed to reduce all reservations to rubble. It isn’t so bad up here—come on in, the water’s frozen (only for part of the year).

I remember when Trudeau swept into power, much like Obama did in 2008. He was a communist and a hero to the masses plus a big fan of Castro. Trudeau screwed up Canada so bad that it took them two generations to get back to somewhat normal. 4 more years of what we have now will take two generations to correct as well.

“...“ expatriation down the road...”

Yeah, because running away from your own country and countrymen, instead of staying to fight for it, is just SOOOOOOOOO patriotic. That’s just SUCH an American tradition.

You don’t think it will follow you there?

They’re as close to being overrun by socialist liberals as we are. Probably even more so.

But hey...if running away is the way you want to go, be our guest.

The rest of us will stay here and fight for it. You can come back later, when it’s “safe”.

As a yank living up North—I think he is right where he belongs. He is a big enough man to handle Canada. I don’t think any politician living is big enough to dig the U.S. out in a tidy way. Sticking him in the U.S. wouldn’t solve the problems in the States, and would leave Canada in a lurch.

Allow him in our country? Heck, several years ago, he was supposed to “visit” Ground Zero in NYC.

We showed up and were willing to do whatever it took to NOT allow him to step one foot on that sacred ground.

It’s “visit” was cancelled.

And yes, all of us who showed up would have taken a bullet to prevent this a hole from stepping foot on Ground Zero.

Officially, Israel does not have nukes. But they do have some amazing devices that produce instant sunshine!

So sad. Canada is a beacon of light? Yes.

Sickening, sad, pitiful, humiliating? There are no words that are strong enough to express how terrible I feel today, not just today but most days, about how horrible things have become under obastard. The stench of death is upon the United States.

I hope the Mossad is doing the maintenance on Nutjob’s plane. You know, so that he has a safe flight back home over the ocean.

"The American delegation didn't even show up"

Which sends the opposite signal to Zero's "those future doesn't belong to those who slander the prophet " speech.

Reminds me of NFL replacement refs:

"We'd have already loaded him up in the trebuchet and sent him back to you by now!"

Well I don't blame you there. Not wishing him on you either. Kudos for your UN people having some backbone. The Obama administration is like the 'boneless chicken ranch' of foreign policy:
