JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. A month after calling on Congressman Todd Akin to drop out of Missouri's U.S. Senate race, the state's incumbent Republican senator now says he'll work for Akin's election.

Looks like The Estblishment GOP was bluffing.
A lot of Republicans are arriving late to the party ......
DeMint, Santorum, Huckabee, Gingrich, Sen. Blunt are all with Akin now. Game on!! Let’s roll !!
Heard J.C. Watts endorses Akin too.
John C. Danforth must still be sulking.
He is man enough to swallow his pride and pitch in and help in a critical race. Thank you Senator Blunt!
At least he saw the light, however late.
Now in addition he should request the
Party join him in backing Todd. As he said,
the main goal is getting ride of Claire.
The real question is, even though they don’t
like Akin, DO THEY REALLY WANT A SHOE IN FOR
CLAIRE to keep the seat and then blame Todd?
GO TODD GO!!!
our chances of saving the country, before a collapse,
just got better.
(if only conservatives had 60+ in the Senate...
i could die happy.)
The Republican Party knows and Conservatives should know also that if the Democrats retain control of the Senate, even if Romney should be elected, that obamacare will not be repealed.
Missouri ping list please?
Really, really big of Blunt, the asshat!
Blunt can prove his bona fides by forcing that spineless trash Cornyn to open up the spigot for Akin at the Republican Senate Campaign Committee IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, we will know that his expression of support is for show and not for real. He also undoubtedly maintains a “Leadership PAC” and he can drain it in Akin’s favor if Blunt is serious.
Back then, the oh-so-righteous freeper surrender monkeys dominated these Akin threads.
I think we gave the ESTABLISHMENT GOP a fist in the face. They finally realized that we, who were supporting Akin, were the ones the GOP needed to get money from in the future. Such small creeps.
Low volume ping list
FReepmail me to be on, or off, this list.
Just heard on the radio that while Senators Blunt, DeMint, Santorum, and others are supporting Todd Akin now, the venerable former Senator from Missouri John C. Danforth is not supporting Todd Akin for the Senate.
It wasn't enough for him to keep his mouth closed and to himself, but he had to make a public press announcement to the effect and give his reasons. He stopped short of endorsing Clairebelle as if he needed to.
John C Danforth -- his true colors shining through.
Danforth is a big POS.
I don’t know if I would call John Cornyn “trahs”, but he is certainly spineless. He doesn’t have to have a spine in TX; so many are so uninformed they think he is a conservative.
Read that one of Kit Bond’s friends will appear in a Claire McCaskill ad...POS. Check this out...the gop E may fund Akin. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2012/09/26/national-republican-senatorial-committee-re-opens-door-to-spending-money-on-akin/?Post generic=?tid=sm_twitter_washingtonpost
Thanks Evil Slayer.
Must be all those begging letters and survey instruments returned to the GOP with the comment:
I gave all the money to Akin
The sniveling little butt cracks run and hide like cowards. Then when the “storm” passes they come crawling out of their holes.
