I would not do it. Not unless you enjoy living in fear of government retribution most days. You don’’t simply have to follow the law. There are too many laws to follow and almost nobody you can count on to advise you correctly. There are not enough hours in the day to do the job you are paid to do by your customers and stay in compliance.

I bought my business in 2003. Had I known, I would have held off or negotiated a better price. The Regime's policies don't affect me as much directly, but I depend on people feeling comfortable enough to invest in building a new structure. 0bama has killed that.

I am in glide mode. Haven’t marketed in two years. If we get our deserved change in November I expect to start back up and market my butt off come January. I am lucky to have little, if not no overhead, and can just semi-retire until things turn around.

Here are the key findings in the poll, as highlighted by NAM:

They don’t mention 0bamaCare specifically. I wonder how much that factors in? Seems like a big negative to me.

In my area, after the election of BO, three small businesses went ‘Galt’. I remained and have been on ‘slow roll’ since. If Obama is reelected, I will change my business model again. I am in bulk ag transport. The plan with BO in WH is to only use ‘independent contractors’ seasonally. Thank God, I’m debt free.

Kulaks - Obama will know how to deal with them in a second term. Get out and vote as if you life depends on it. Romney is not the same as Obama.

Perhaps they should share their pessimism with their employees, who may be surprised to know that their jobs might go away shortly after an Obama win.

I wouldn’t venture into the small business world now. Not with that creature in the White House.

And, I wonder... to do this, will they acquire currently owned properties through eminent domain action?

And, of course, we also need a poll taken among those FORMER small business owners who have gone broke thanks to Obama’s socialst over-regulation and his crappy economy.

Obama and his crew do not want any small businesses. They are too hard to control as there are just too many of them and they have an independent streak.

Obama’s form of Nazism is wedded at the hip to large corporations who donate to him and enjoy all the illegal support in the form of Government cash. They also do not like competition.

If many people are unemployed the Government/Large Corps own them and they either get a subsistence living from the Fed dime or get a job from the limited, Government controlled pool of employment opportunities.

Either way everyone remains under complete control of the elites who think they are our betters and get their jollies from controlling the lives of others.

.

If you will dig into this - You will find that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are backing and/or controlling the enormous numbers and percentages of foreclosed homes and mortgaged already.

Private corporation mortgages were never in the agenda of the Big Government Socialists in America

It is a part of the “Progressive” pattern that Obama and Socialists/Communists work by

Cloward-Piven under camo

Like illegals - and the Muslims -

They use “the system” to “fundamentally transform” and destroy our republic - then rebuild it in the template of their failed countries and cultures

- Already in Florida homes in “gated communities” that rent for over $3000/month are now being rented to single women (on welfare) with children under subsidized Section 8 - and the government uses your (rapidly increasing) US Taxpayer money to pay the amount ($2000) over of which the new renter has in “income” from welfare ($1000) - often over $3000/month (to the homeowner) for a residence with heated swimming pool, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms - literally a “welfare mansion” - It can’t happen here?

Ask their neighbors in those communities

- But “this time they will do it right!”

.

Exactly. I work in HR and would NEVER start my own business nowadays. It is literally impossible to ensure you are following the law because it is a mountain of vague and conflicting regulations, court decisions that contradict other court decisions, and different attorneys will offer different answers to an HR question. There is no clear rule of law to follow so you can never be sure you won't be hit out of the blue with an immense lawsuit decided against you.

Yup, you can’t just follow the law you have to interpret it and try to guess what is required to stay in compliance and out of trouble.

Nothing but a guessing game to lose.
