This is exactly why I would advise R&R to tell the State Run Media that they are not showing up to their Obama butt-kissing, dog and pony show, unless Mark Levin and/or Rush are also moderators. I don’t care if they don’t like it, they are our enemy. It would be a great opportunity to let the voting public know that they are not putting up with this crap anymore and expose the SRM for what the are. (Tass and Pravda rolled into one!) I don’t care if they have to broadcast 2 hours of Obama playing with himself. Do not let them set the agenda and frame these debates. They attempt, and succeed, at damaging our candidates every day. It is insanity to cowtow to them and let them damage our candidates to their faces! This is all a big fing set up!! Obama will have all the questions in advance! Tell the SRM to add conservative moderators, or to go pound sand!! This media bullshit needs to end!!

I think that most of the polls are skewed. It's not necessarily intentional, but promoting them as accurate without pointing out the obvious oversampling of Democrats is intentional. A reputable pollster would never do it.

But, it's hard to get an unskewed poll these days. Many Republicans are disgusted with the media, and refuse to participate in the polls. Others are simply too busy -- they aren't at home to answer the phone. The only people that participate in polls these days are the ones with nothing else to do.

True. It seems there are few honest, reputable pollsters. I wouldn't think they'd be likely to put their reputation and livelihood on the line, but they do it. Even though we look at Gallup's numbers showing Carter winning and laugh about it - they are still in business.

I do not understand their logic.

To try and convince me that ‘my side’ is behind only compels me even more to get my arse out and vote, even though I live in a deep blue state where it’s not going to matter anyway.

Call it a “spite vote”, if you will.

Win or lose, I will cast a vote -against- the Obamanation and will have that cold comfort, at least.

Why every American isn’t thinking like that is beyond me.

In 2008, I left the barely cold body of my dog who died suddenly that morning to go cast my vote...with a puffy face, runny nose and tears in my eyes...but dammit, I *went*.

Even if they ‘called it’ prematurely like they’ve done before, I’d *still* go...just in case.

This is the site where traders actually bet their own money on the results of certain events — elections being some of the biggest bets.

After the conventions, Obama has shot up to now a 75% (as at today) of being re-elected according to this site.

I guess this is where Gasparino bases what he says on.

Repeat after me...the problem is not "bias." It is "collusion."

"Bias" implies a tendency to favor a certain side in a debate or dispute. This is often unconscious or semi-conscious. But in this case, the State Run Media are active advocates for Obambi. They are overtly collaborting. This is not bias-- it is collusion.

Republicans this year, the electorate is going to be far closer to the 2004 and 2010 models than 2008. Any poll trying to replicate the 2008 is going to artificially inflate Obama’s support.

I never thought of that before but there are probably quite a few! Of course ninety nine percent of them would be Obama voters. Those of us who have a clue about reality are at least a little smarter than that.
