Did Biden really play college football?
I think Ohio would be mad if they found out Biden never played college football after bragging his team beat them in 1963. The year Biden said he was almost arrested in Ohio. Biden was never there in 1963.
Truth is Biden never played for University of Deleware football.
All them Biden college football stories were just Biden folklore made up by Biden.
There is only one mention of Biden at the University web site and it's a quote by Biden coming in and playing for Scotty Duncan his freshman year in 1961. Link here hope it works: http://www.udel.edu/udaily/2009/sep/champs090508.html
It's just a quote from Biden. If you check the yearbook in 1961 and look at the freshman football team roster photo with names I can't find Biden. Duncan is there as freshman coach.

I picked year 1963 since Biden mentioned it a couple weeks ago in Ohio about him and his team beating Ohio , almost arrested etc..
Also in Biden's own book he mentions not wanting to play college football so he can travel weekends to visit gf/ wife.
Since Biden been stealing speeches that forced him out of the 1988 presidential run (kinnock scandal) and Biden caught plagiarism in college. I think he never played College football.
Just a hunch. It sure would tick off Ohio if he was never there in 1963.
You would think if the VP of USA was a halfback at a college there would be a photo, even stats like yardage etc. nothing on Biden.

did Delaware have a freshman-only team? Maybe he was on that. A number of schools, back then, had both a varsity and a freshman-only team.

We do know that Ronald Reagan played football in college, while majoring in economics, coaching and being captain of the swim team, running track, being cheerleader for the basketball team, president of the boosters club, yearbook feature editor, in the student senate, and then becoming student body president.

Gator-Ade was invented at the University of Florida in 1965, after Biden supposedly played football. More like he was hitting the kickapoo joy juice extra heavy.
