Ambassador Chris Stevens did not have a Marine detail in Benghazi, Libya. But White House senior adviser and Obama confidante Valerie Jarrett reportedly had a full Secret Service detail on vacation in Martha's Vineyard.
"Jarrett seems to have a 24-hour, around-the-clock detail, with five or six agents full time," Democratic pollster Pat Caddell said in an interview recently with Breitbart news. If Stevens had a similar escort, he'd probably be alive today.
Such protection isn't usually available to senior advisers, but Jarrett is no ordinary adviser.
She almost always seems to be near the president and first lady, and her name keeps popping up at key moments, indicating the power and influence she wields.
Her influence is shown by an account in Richard Miniter's book "Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him."

To be technical, both Barack and Michelle Obama voluntarily “retired” their law licenses. They are not able to practice law unless the licenses are reinstated, but by the same token they are also not subject to attorney discipline in Illinois.
Valerie Jarrett is the best type of progressive Communist. Pro-Arab, Anti-American, Anti-capitalist unless she, herself, stands to profit. Had Chicago been selected to host the 2016 Olympics, Jarrett would have reaped a small fortune since she acquired much of the land intended for the Olympic Village. Valerie also plugged Michelle into the Cook County Democratic patronage feeding trough. For years, Michelle earned more money from her do nothing public sector jobs than did her lazy husband.

Ms. Blanco was a more attractive woman than Valerie Jarret’s at her present age. I agree that Ms Jarret’s face is disturbing: her small dark eyes are more like that of a animal, without the whites of her eyes showing.

Everytime there is a change of President, they can leave behind “appointed” staff and cabinet positions.
This was a problem for GW Bush because he didn’t view these people as being hostile to him .. and all the while they were continually stabbing him in the back.
First day of Romney/Ryan - GET RID OF ALLLLLLLL PRIVIOUSLY APPOINTED POSITIONS. That can include ALL positions in the DOJ and the FBI/CIA/state dept, etc.

I hear you, from the article, it seems as if the Democrat elites are grooming young, promising communists, scary! What worries me is how they are embracing radicals like San Antonio’s mayor Castro.
