I realize there needs to be some leeway for absentee voters, but six weeks?I realize there are legitimate reasons to have absentee voting. That said I believe the founders wanted all votes cast on a single day,
US Constitution: The Congress may determine the time of choosing the electors, and the day on which they shall give their votes; which day shall be the same throughout the United States.
