I listened to MS daily on my lunch breaks for several years, mostly for lack of anything better.

He was either brilliant or highly misinformed depending on the subject at hand and wholly unwilling to admit his mistakes. But his jealousy over Rush was truly pathetic.

IMO, several regular posters I have crossed keyboards here on FR were more articulate in their positions, made better and deeper points and do what they do with far more ‘flare’ than Savage.

While I won’t say his loss is the proverbial ‘good thing’ as he could be very good at times, I am not saddened by his absence.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. His constant bashing of Rush and "the Leprechaun" were over the top for an alleged conservative. And it should be noted that neither Rush, the Leprechaun or other conservative talk show hosts ever retaliated in kind nor ever mentioned his name.

I suspect that it was the fact that they ignored him that fueled his anger towards them.......
