In the southeast Michigan town of Roseville, there will be a dig of a driveway to see if there's a body buried underneath it, and utlimately, if it's the remains of missing Teamsters union-boss Jimmy Hoffa, according to Granite Broadcasting sister station MyTV20 News.
According to the report from MyTV20 News:
Police have used ground-penetrating radar and discovered an anomoly under a driveway pavement that could be the remains of a body buried there some 35 years ago - around the time that Hoffa disappeared.
Read the press release from the Roseville, Michigan police department:
"Roseville Police Investigate Possible Cold Case Homicide " The Roseville Police Department received information that we believe to be credible about a homicide victim whose body was interred in Roseville approximately 35 years ago. As a result of this information Roseville Police Detectives working with the Michigan State Police Crime Lab used a ground penetrating radar to search the area in question looking for ground anomalies. The radar did find an anomaly in the area in which the source of information claimed the body to be located. (A ground penetrating radar can detect an anomaly under the earth but cannot tell you what that anomaly is) .
Because the anomaly is located under a concrete slab, this Friday, Roseville Detectives working in conjunction with a Forensic Pathologist from Michigan State University will have a core sample taken of the area in question in an attempt to ascertain if human remains are present. We are taking this course of action to minimize the amount of damage done to the current home owners property if the sample tested is negative for human remains.
The complainant in this matter felt that remains interred if there any, maybe those of Jimmy Hoffa, he is making this assumption as the event may have taken place on or near the day Mr. Hoffa disappeared. The Roseville Police Investigation is centering solely on the assumption that a John Doe may have been interred and not Jimmy Hoffa. We are proceeding on this case as we would on any other investigation in which we believe we have credible information to conduct an investigation."
Give me a break
Jimmy is Goal Post at Giants stadium LOL!
I heard that, back when Jimmy disappeared. And also that he was put through a woodchipper and the pieces fed to a flock of chickens on a mob-owned farm in New Jersey. Whatever!
Please...Jimmy sleeps with the fishes....
Really? As if the mob would have got construction workers involved? With all the little lakes west and north west of the “Lord Fox” where Jimmy had his last supper, ya think there might be a drum in one of them with Jimmy in it? Just my pet theory, no I was just a kid when it happened and didn’t live in the area at the time, but look at a map and think what would these dirt-bags would have done that was easy...
A 500 mile drive....or a 1000 mile drive....Why would anyone think they stayed local with his body.
I think he’s down in the foundation footer, somewhere. Probably in numerous places after going thru the cement mixer blades. LOL.
Exactly, it defies logic...
Witness Protection Program
He’s in the NJ Pine Barrens with that Russian guy from the Sopranos.
One filthy scumbag union leader down, about 1000 to go.
The cynic in me says the guy needs to re-do the driveway, and doesn’t want to pay for the demolition of the old one...
it defies logic that anyone would take a 500 mile ride with a stiff, especially one that the FBI has a task force organized around!
Hadn’t thought of that one. He’d be 99 now...
And the chickens were turned into pink slime and fed to far middle schoolers.
Luckily Michigan and the towns have a lot of spare cash to accommodate wild goose chases. Wasn’t Michigan just whining about having to close schools, cut police, etc. but they have money to chase a ghost?
Nope, not him.
What if they find a body, but it’s not Jimmy?......................
This story is perfect for Geraldo and his gig this weekend on Fox!
