I and the souls of six million fellow Jews cordially “thank” you and yours for burying the well-documented and multiply sourced Babi Yar massacre of 50,000 in the depths of your paper, as if it were a lie. You helped the world believe that the Holocaust was a lie. May you be damned.

served from 1963 to 1992

Just think how much America was corrupted during this time frame. I wonder if Sulzberger was a KGB agent. Google "Yuri Besmenov" for more info.

Raible, Christopher K. (Lt.Col) and Atwell, Bradley W. (Sergeant) USMC died. May they rest in peace, my prayers go to their families and friends. They lived the warrior code and followed a path of honor. They will be missed by all and we are lessened by their absence in our country.

this other quisling ,Slopensburq, Shuppendurf or whatever for the NYT stopped breathing , eh............ well my truck needs some body work, it's raining outside...time to move on. Let's watch some college football. Yeah!!!!

Geez, he worked so hard to ‘communitize’ this nation and now will miss the ‘fruits’ of his efforts. I bet those left behind will be surprised that the results will be eerily similar to the old Soviet bloc.

Sulzberger and his lousy newspaper showed nothing but disrespect for Americans—conservatives—during his life.
Why does he deserve respect? Because he croaked? We all die.
His son is as bad or worse that he is. Should we show him “respect” as well?
Respect is earned. Let Obama kowtow to the NYT.

(with apologies to the Louis Armstrong version)

Now I’ll be glad when you’re dead, you liar you, uh-huh.

I’ll be glad when you’re dead, you liar you, oh yeah.

Well I read your rotten rag, your left wing diatribes, and I’ll be glad when you’re dead, you liar you.

Now I’ll be glad when your paper goes broke, you liar you, uh-huh.

I’ll be glad, oh I’ll be just tickled, and I hope it breaks your bank, oh yeah.

When you’re down there punchin’ chunks, maybe soon we’ll all chuck “Pinch”, too.

I’ll be glad when you’re dead, you ink stained wretch, oh yeah.

Ah, you just ain’t no good! Oh, you scum.

“influential” is an interesting choice of words.
The Spike
by Arnaud De Borchgrave, Robert Moss
An excellent but convoluted [skinkinthegrass] novel about worldwide intrigue and manipulation of the news.
It makes you wonder if maybe there isn't more than a grain of truth to the story...(from another site/source)
this is a great read; too bad, pinch / punch "loath"....Surfing Smiley

Eugene Genovese also died within the past few days—a noted historian who was a Marxist in his earlier years but evolved (became a Catholic in his later years). Known for his work on American slavery.

MSN.com has a very unflattering picture of old Punch on their hotmail sign-out page, but I can't cut and paste the URL. It looks like Punch is receiving the news of his own death. Much worse than this one:

Punch was a transitional figure. He went beyond FDR or JFK era liberalism, but wasn't yet a part of today's multiethnic, multicultural, multisexual, monolithically left-liberal newsroom in the way that his son Pinch is. RIP, Punch.

I didn't realized that John Silber had died. I don't watch local news or read the papers here in MA, so I'm clueless when things happen here, unless I read them on FR.

John Silber is the ONLY Democrat I've voted for in the last 30 years. I supported him against William Weld, when he ran for Governor of MA. Weld was the WORST kind of RINO.
