A Detroit man says his business is being held hostage by a group of teenagers who continually loiter inside and out of his gas station.
"There's a lot of good people around here," said the station owner, who wished to remain anonymous. But now, those good people aren't coming as often to the Marathon station along W. 7 Mile Road on the city's west side.
"This is a Bad Crew gas station," said one teen loitering out front on Tuesday. When asked what that meant, he said, "If you don't know, I can't even tell you."
Surveillance video obtained by FOX 2 shows as many as a dozen teens hanging out inside the store, smoking cigarettes, sitting on countertops and even spitting into sinks.
The owner says as many as 40 teens can be hanging out in front of the station at any time. "Destroying my store. Destroying my business," said the owner.

Loitering “teens”? Don’t get me started.
So corrected me if I am wrong, but don’t his taxes go toward paying for on duty cops to protect his store? DUH....
yes, and they can come any time a crime is committed and take a report, IF THE MAN IS STILL ALIVCE TO GIVE IT.
If he wants 24/7 protection do you want tax dollars providing that?

Nothing about 5 guys with good shotguns and a few bandolier mag carriers couldn’t fix in an afternoon.
Cleaning up the neighborhood.
The transit authority did something similar- they had a problem with teens hanging out in one subway station, so they started plays classical music over the PA system. Problem solved in less than a week.
The first thing I would do is lock the rest rooms, turn off the water at the sink and raise the price of all drinks to $5.00 each.
Then I would hire a water wagon to come by every half hour, but on a flex schedule so no one could tell when, and wash the place down.
That’s an interesting suggestion. He would have to put the player where the kids cannot steal it, if they haven’t already.

Its the other hoods in the crowd they are mixed up that are a bad influence.

He can hire off-duty cops, the gang will probably laugh at them. Of course his margins might be razor thin and 24x7 protection will probably bankrupt him but that’s ok, he didn’t build it.

How about the very high frequency sounds that only kids can hear?
Play a little bit of classical music, kind of loud. That will get rid of them
