They’ve got some problems.

Let’s name the problem - jackboot murder squads.

Have you proof of this, or is it your usual apology for all misdeeds by the cops you seem to worship so much?

I wasn’t talking about “the war on drugs” I was talking about “accidental” raids on houses of people who criticize Dear Leader, bitterly cling to their bibles and guns, post messages on places like this, attend Tea Party rallies, buy “too much” ammo, complain about Michelle’s school lunch plan or ObamaCare or insult the prophet. Stuff like that.

I thought the same thing, a very good cover for killing who you want without penalty.

What sounded paranoid in 2007-9 sure sounds reasonable now, doesn’t it?

Better check and make sure that your neighbor has taken care of his unpaid parking tickets. Hell, yes, it is your business.

“Unfortunately with power also comes sovereign immunity. “Sorry, we screwed up, but you can’t even sue us in civil court, let alone file criminal charges. Too bad for you!!”

I might try a different tack. Based upon this and other recent evidence, which is starting to pile up, I wonder if a US citizen can appeal to the UN to have the US declared a terrorist state or American citizens as oppressed peoples. That would be hilarious. Because that would completely undermine our entire foreign “holier than thou” policy, this crap would end very quickly regardless of which of the same political parties is in charge here.

I do wonder, though: HOW did they miss the dog?

The police have been turned into paramilitary thugs.

I want all of you to keep this thought in mind. Eventually they are going to use this “oops wrong house” BS to hit suspected political dissidents, AKA conservatives, Christians, etc.

It’s probably already set to go into a tactics manual during the Kenyan Thug’s second term.

I admired cops. I even worked for them. I was proud to always help them in every possible way at all.

Then one robbed me. Another two cuffed me then beat me up —I never swore, yelled, or raised my voice at them. I have no tattoos, no hip-hop clothing. I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs. I carry no swagger, no attitude.

Now i mostly hate cops and if I saw one being beat up, well, he probably deserved it.

Did you know that if you have a documented past affiliation with a street gang that that is NOT suffice as a basis for exclusion from employment...?

Indiana earlier this year passed what is called “a right to resist law” that removes some that immunity.

These sonsabitches need to be investigated and somebody needs to be punished with extreme prejudice for this nonsense.

There's another aspect to consider in parallel with the first.

Drug buyers and users have little or no regard for the laws the rest of us obey. They invite the circumstances and results that innocents then suffer.

The cops are idiots if they can't tell which location they need to invade. The dealers and buyers deserve every bit of disregard that can be sent their way.

When they’re white in the face, bug eyed, shouting, and fondling there gun leather while you’re simply answering questions, you really start thinking what if I have to jump this guy? What if this guy is so psycho and unsure of himself that he’s going to just kill me, and put a story together with his friends? And when you have that kind of encounter more than once, if you’re in a situation where you have to turn your back on either a cop or a gangbanger, hell yes you turn your back on the worst gang banger there ever was. Even gang members have to play by some rules, A cop is God with a get out of jail free card, and he knows it.

I’ve met some good cops... And you know what? They were usually the guys who had to tell five cops who didn’t know what they were doing how to do what they were doing, had to ride herd on a couple others who just didn’t care what they were doing, and keep their eye on the one psycho that they should have never hired and can’t get rid of.

I’m a big guy, and the biggest danger to me, is having to interact with the Munchkin cop from the Lollipop Guild. The more respectful guys to me are the big ones, the little ones look at me, and they think they’re on safari and the lion just stuck his nose inside their tent.

A couple years ago cops wanted to search my boat without a warrant, I refuse permission, they arrested me and searched anyway... and of course there was nothing. But they’re mad, so they’re going to take me in...”resisting arrest without violence”, what a crap charge. Cuffs won’t fit around my wrists, and none of them have any quick ties, so here’s the mayor of Lilliput attempting a come along hold, and he’s failing miserably... I’m not coming along with him, he’s coming along with me. He’s white as a ghost, like he’s the one going to jail. And there are no other officers where their cars are all parked, and apparently he thought there would be...he had to let me go and basically trust my good nature (he’d been trusting my good nature for quite awhile, actually), while he goes digging around in his car for these stupid plastic ties. He’s frightened, plus, he knows he looks like an idiot.

Now let me tell you something, are you at all surprised that after he finally got me restrained, this guy’s attitude went from dead man walking and flipped over to a**hole multiplied by the factor of 5?

People complain about the steroid freaks... believe me, your life is in more danger with a shaky Barney Fife with 15 plus 1 in the spout, not just 1 in the pocket.

"Somebody posted this the other day. The event took place 12 years ago - not exactly breaking news..."

12 years! The killers are probably long retired by now -- and still earning 6-figures per year -- never having been punished.

Duh, didn’t our Founding Fathers write something in the Bill of Rights prohibiting the Brits and other Government Goons from bashing and trashing?

Or should we be nice to all those that hate you as yours could be the next house they tell the goons to invade: Just like on TV!

Americans have a right to meet armed home invasions with lethal force. If the justice system weren’t so cockeyed there would be a deprivation of civil rights suit there.

Unfortunately with power also comes sovereign immunity. "Sorry, we screwed up, but you can't even sue us in civil court, let alone file criminal charges. Too bad for you!!"

That is the lie they are trying to repeat until it becomes true.
The US Supreme Court has already ruled on this sort of immunity issue, stating:

(a) By its terms, 1983 "creates a species of tort liability that on its face admits of no immunities." Imbler v. Pachtman, 424 U.S. 409, 417 . Its language is absolute and unqualified, and no mention is made of any privileges, immunities, or defenses that may be asserted. Rather, the statute imposes liability upon "every person" (held in Monell v. New York City Dept. of Social Services, 436 U.S. 658 , to encompass municipal corporations) who, under color of state law or custom, "subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States . . . to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws." And this expansive sweep of 1983's language is confirmed by its legislative history. Pp. 635-636. [445 U.S. 622, 623]
[…]
(d) Rejection of a construction of 1983 that would accord municipalities a qualified immunity for their good-faith constitutional violations is compelled both by the purpose of 1983 to provide protection to those persons wronged by the abuse of governmental authority and to deter future constitutional violations, and by considerations of public policy. In view of the qualified immunity enjoyed by most government officials, many victims of municipal malfeasance would be left remediless if the city were also allowed to assert a good-faith defense. The concerns that justified decisions conferring qualified immunities on various government officials - the injustice, particularly in the absence of bad faith, of subjecting the official to liability, and the danger that the threat of such liability would deter the official's willingness to execute his office effectively - are less compelling, if not wholly inapplicable, when the liability of the municipal entity is at issue. Pp. 650-656.

The same reasoning applies to US CODE Chapter 18, Sections 241 & 242; which are federal felonies for "Deprivation of rights under color of law" and "conspiracy against rights."
