I felt it too, and I’m not even in Texas, when I read who the DMN had endorsed for President.

Over here in Richardson/Garland/N. Dallas, didn’t feel anything.

Also, 3.something? That’s like a really big truck rumbling by. :P

In California when they have a big earthquake everyone calls into the police to let them know.

...as if the police stations are floating on shock absorbers or something.

I always got a kick out when I heard on the radio there that police are getting reports of an earthquake.

It was nothing compared to the let down of Oklahoma State fans after the referees gave Texas a winning touchdown on an obvious fumble before the goal line.

Here in Carrollton—felt like the left side of my house rattle. I thought someone was trying to break in at first. Went outside and my neighbor was in the street—he mentioned his wife and he were in bed and it was shaking.

Yep, woke up to the hounds a-barking. Sounded like, and thought it was, a tree branch from one of my Live Oaks crashing down on the roof. It has been blowing and going out there for a while today/tonight so wouldn’t be surprising...sounded like something snapped, definitely...anyway no rocking and rolling this time. Poor excuse for a quake if you ask me.

And the funding for that anti-fracking movie came from the United Arab Emirates... per "Red Eye" on Fox News last night.

3.4 ain’t a earthquake- its a truck driving by.

Only 5 km deep though, definitely noticeable when it's so shallow.

But yeah, if a 3.4 happened at a more "normal" depth, it would be more of a "look up from the magazine, say 'huh,' then resume reading" kind of quake ;)
