Special Tue. column ping. (Radio news: Talk Radio Network has given the Savage slot, normally 6-9p ET nationally,
to Jerry Doyle. On WRKO Boston, they are now running Mark Levin 7-10 pm then Doyle though Doyle had a fill in last night (Doyle was already in that slot).
I didn’t catch the debate...figured I’d get highlights later. Can’t take Warren’s voice. It says something that I did tune in later to hear a bit of Todd Feinburg and
Michele McScreamer’s take on it. I could take McScreamer’s
voice, but not Warren’s. i.e., Warren’s is even worse to me.

Does Granny Warren really believe everything she said last night in Lowell?

I mean, this woman is a moonbat’s moonbat. She makes Obama look like a moderate.

Two weeks ago, she was wringing her hands about higher college tuitions. Last night she repeated (or Scott Brown did it for her) that she’s for in-state tuition for illegal aliens — which amounts to free tuition for people in the country illegally. But not for kids from New Hampshire whose parents pay income tax in Massachusetts.

She also supports driver’s licenses for illegal aliens. Professor Warren, how about driver’s licenses for drunken drivers? Why should one class of criminals be discriminated against in favor of another?

The debate took place on a warm October evening — Elizabeth Warren summer.

Granted, Scott Brown still has the steeper hill to climb. He’s a Republican. He’s also an adult. This woman is untethered from the truth. So were her supporters in the Tsongas Center.

At the start when David Gregory mentioned the fake-Indian controversy, they softly hissed him. How dare he! Then she claimed she didn’t lie for five weeks about not knowing that Harvard was touting her as a “woman of color.”

“I answered it when I understood it,” she said, with forked tongue. It took her five weeks to understand Hillary Chabot’s question?

Hey, maybe this is working for her. Perhaps the state is totally overrun with Kool-Aid drinkers who think the last four years have been great, and that if only we could borrow another $10 trillion from China and add another 15 million to the food stamp rolls....

She’s for Obama’s “jobs bill.” Too bad she wasn’t here in Boston during the ’70s. Did she ever hear of the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act (CETA)? City Hall trained a lot of hacks, for careers in the hackerama. Most of them never worked again.

Her only ammunition is Brown’s votes on all these fake roll-calls. Who’s her trainer, Chuck Schumer? She uses her talking points like a crutch — “millionaires and billionaires” and “subsidies for big oil.”

Big oil made $137 billion in profits last year! And how much did Big Government make in taxes on “Big Oil”? She was so out of gas at the end that she used the word “hammered” again.

Brown at least has new material for every debate. My favorite was when she brought up the “Buffett rule” and he came back with, “We already have a Buffett rule in this state. You can voluntarily pay higher state taxes. She chose not to.”

I’m sure he rehearsed this line too: “Excuse me, I’m not a student in your classroom.”

Granny’s the classic modern Democrat. She can’t even name a Republican she’d work with — at least one who’ll be there in January. To her, the only compromise is when Republicans surrender. She never saw a tax she didn’t want to raise — except her own.

“I’m from here,” Scott Brown said to begin his closing statement.

Yes he is. And Granny is from ... Harvard.

Wed column ping

It’s lights, camera... and drool all over Obama

The only place to watch tonight’s presidential debate is on C-SPAN.

You know what everyone on every network except Fox is going to say. Comrade Chris Matthews’ leg is going to be tingling out of control. Sgt. Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow will be breathlessly reading phony stories from the Internet about dissension in the GOP ranks.

On CNN, “Republicans” Alex Castellanos and David Gergen will compare Barack’s closing statement to the Gettysburg Address and the Sermon on the Mount. David Brooks will swoon as he notes the perfect crease in Obama’s trousers.

All of these trust-funded parrots — the pundits, the bow-tied bumkissers, the throne sniffers — will agree that it’s all over and Mitt might as well throw in the towel.

Talk about marching in “lockstep,” to use a favorite word of both U.S. Sen. Scott Brown and Granny Warren on Monday night in Lowell.

But don’t let the Democratic agitprop get you down. Just watch the debate on C-SPAN and then, as soon as it’s over, flip over to a radio talk show, or the Internet.

The courtiers on the alphabet networks are just trying to depress you. They want you to stay home on Nov. 6. This is always done in campaigns — in World War II, the Axis had Tokyo Rose and Lord Haw-Haw spouting propaganda to the Allies over shortwave radio. Of course, the difference is, they were broadcasting from behind enemy lines.

Tonight’s Lord Haw-Haws will be trying to destroy morale from posh TV studios in New York and Washington. They ride around the East Side in limousines, make seven-figure salaries and summer on Nantucket. They’re the one percent.

Some have speculated that the network touts might try to keep Mitt viable, to goose ratings and keep a semblance of a horse race going. That may have been true until recent times, but now, the watchdogs are lapdogs. They can’t help themselves. They worship at Barack’s feet.

How can it be that Mitt Romney putting his dog in a crate on the roof of his car is approximately 100 times as big a story as Barack Obama actually eating one in Indonesia?

But there’s good news. For a lot of these obsequious, squirrely Uriah Heeps, this is the last go-around. Their newspapers — and maybe networks — aren’t going to exist in another four years. Re-electing Obama only will hasten the demise of the lame-streams.

Your average elite reporter is about as truthful as Granny Warren. Think “fake but accurate,” a famous headline about a hoax “60 Minutes” fabricated for the Democrats in 2004.

Here’s another example of fake news. On Jan. 10, 2010, the Sunday Globe ran a front-page story about Marsha Coakley’s commanding lead in the Senate race with nine days to go.

“Democrat Martha Coakley ... enjoys a solid, 15-percentage-point lead over Republican rival Scott Brown as the race for U.S. Senate enters the homestretch, according to a new Boston Globe poll of likely voters. ... Coakley’s lead grows to 17 points — 53 to 36 — when undecideds leaning toward a candidate are included in the tally.”

Nine days later, Scott Brown won, 53-47. Anyone know what channel C-SPAN is on in Brighton?
