When a family friend told a 17-year-old Tomball girl that she "looked tired and needed a blessing," the girl believed him.
After all, the man attended her church and was known to practice black magic. "Because of her religious beliefs," Harris County prosecutors said, "she believed that (he) could bless her."

“the man attended her church and was known to practice black magic”
Just doing the black magic and rapes that Americans won’t do...
Add this to Obamas illegal alien account.
Tomball is a generally boring bedroom community of Houston. One of my friends from college lives there.
Djinns, Black Magic, Sorcery and interfaith.
Back in the 7th century.
I used to live there. Tomball is half suburbia and half rural farming community.
Looks that way. Much like Obama’s “interfaith council”.
Sounds like where I live, but our Big City is Charlotte.
Forget about it. What else would you expect in Bizzaro world? Ain’t nothin’ normal no mo.
That was my reaction. What kind of “church” is this?!
@Tax-chick Also the home of one of the finest pet kennels in Texas.
Where were this girl’s parents?
It’s not the kind of church I attend. Nice that Tomball has a good kennel, though. My friend who lives there has a cocker spaniel.
Suspect Mario Munoz-Verudes attended the victim's church.

stupid is as stupid does!
There are black magic churches??
I am guessing Unitarian Universalist. They believe in whatever you want to believe in. No set doctrine or God or even a belief in God. Think of it as a church for Liberals. Whatever you are into, bring it. They are everything from athiest to Wiccans to you name it. Very bizzarre “church” that is more of a social club.
Google it and you will see what I mean.
Tomball is a generally boring bedroom community of Houston.
What makes a bedroom community of “anywhere” not boring?
What goes on in your bedroom community that makes it “not boring”?
Is Tomball a boring bedroom community because no one is getting killed, assaulted, raped, mugged, robbed, cops are not killing dogs and their owners, drugs are not being sold, their are no young studs wearing their pants around their knees, gun shots are not heard on a regular hourly basis, cops do not come into the neighbor hood more than once an hour, young dark colored females are not roaming the streets looking for older citizens to assault and cellphone tape, etc., etc., do you get the gist of what I am asking you?
Please provide an intelligent, concise answer to just what a boring neighborhood is and do you really prefer not to live in a boring neighborhood?
Don’t some South Americans have their bastard version of Catholicism and voodoo, or witchcraft? Santeria, or something? Doesn’t Haiti do the same? I’ve read of events in Haiti where the local priest and voodoo chief, or whatever they’re called, co-operate in “blessing” community event openings, etc. I guess one calls the demons in and one drives them back out.
I like living an a “boring whiteopia” neighborhood. No thanks to the “excitement” and “vibrant diversity” of drive-by shootings, loud vulgar music played at any hours, domestic fights for the diversion of the whole neighborhood, cars parked in front others’ driveways, police chases through the yard, all the other “cultural enrichment”. Just no thanks.
Does anyone remember when Hillary said Bill was ministering to Monica?
Satan already has the unsaved. If he wants to go fishing, what’s better than the church?
Tomball, is just northwest of Houston, and has plenty of diversity.. They play both Country and Western music.. yep!
Well, he looks very spritual. In a way. He burned incense!
Just not the kind of blessing she expected!
Can’t help it. It’s funny!
I hope she is ok, however. I mean ok considering.....
Oh, I didn’t think you did! (I thought it was a news story)
LOL!!! Last episode of Grimm was a wolf acting as a preacher, fleecing a church full of sheep...then the herd turned.
And tax dodge?
