Why can’t the diaper manufacturers just find another acrylic acid supplier? Just looked it up and DOW is one.

I used to date the Daughter of the guy who invented whatever it is that makes disposable diapers absorb moisture.
He worked for Dow Chemical.

Well I would imagine that the other mfrs are supplying to their customers at maximum output. It would take months to ramp up to produce the amount needed to make up the difference......
