Scandal: A Univision special documents how weapons provided by the administration to Mexican drug cartels repeatedly have taken a deadly toll as families on both sides of the border wait for true answers and accountability.
We may never know how many deaths, kidnappings and other criminal activities were facilitated by more than 2,000 weapons that were allowed to "walk" into Mexico under the Obama administration's Fast and Furious program, but a Univision special aired Sunday exposes more of the carnage.
The special, put together by Univision's investigative unit and aired as a special edition of Univision's "Aqui y Ahora" ("Here and Now") identified massacres committed using guns from the ATF operation, including the killing of 16 young people attending a party in a residential area of Ciudad Juarez in January 2010.
In addition to fueling increased gun violence in Mexico, guns from Fast and Furious previously unreported by congressional investigators found their way into the hands of drug traffickers across Latin America in countries such as Honduras and Colombia, as well as the U.S. Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
Kudos to Univision, which regrettably will not have a reporter at Wednesday's presidential debate to ask the tough questions the administration's media sycophants will not, for pursuing the truth on Fast and Furious with more vigor than most American media outlets.
"I think up to 100 Mexicans might have died (in Operation Fast and Furious) and also American agent Brian Terry," Univision reporter Jorge Ramos said to President Obama during a recent interview.
"There's a report that 14 agents were responsible for the operation, but shouldn't the attorney general, Eric Holder ... have known about that? And if he didn't, should you fire him?"

Sure would like to have a high definition copy of this report, with English sub-titles.
Fast and Furious ping
The son of the head of the Sinaloa Cartel is on trial in Chicago, of all places, and HIS estimate of F&F was north of three THOUSAND deaths.
And he said Obama has a secret agreement with the Sinaloa Cartel —shut down the other cartels, and NO US intercept of Sinaloa drug loads.
So...your Prez upgraded from the Choom Gang to the Sinaloa Cartel, see?
I wonder if Mexico can charge Obama and Holder, ATF, et al with criminally negligent behavior leading to multiple deaths?
Also wonder if Mexico can bring a case against Obama et al in the International Court in the Hague?
Would love a nice perp walk just before Nov. 6th.
Yeah, but if a tree falls on an island does anyone hear it?
The MSM has their ear plugs in and blind folds on. They are waiting for Romney to say something they can report about. The President and Holder have been doing their jobs faithfully. This is like a Fairy Tale. The Four Year Obama Fairy Tale.
too bad Univision is so far left...but hey even a broken clock can be on time twice a day
That should be the ad—Obama doesn’t care about hispanic lives-—only hispanic votes.
“up to 100 Mexicans might have died (in Operation Fast and Furious) and also American agent Brian Terry,” Univision reporter Jorge Ramos said”
Illegal Aliens Mexicans just love to push their pride in Mexico and their ‘blood’, but they’ll STILL vote for OBama before they’ll get ticked off about this! Fact is, they don’t care about anything except themselves...not their children born here, not our laws, and mostly not our borders.
“I wonder if Mexico can charge Obama and Holder, ATF, et al with criminally negligent behavior leading to multiple deaths?”
The deal on this one was sealed when Obama did his extra constitutional stunt of ‘young alien amnesty’. And you can bet Mexico is going to get all it wants out of him from here on out. It’s their get out of jail free card. Mexico will never go after them as long as they’re getting what they demand. I’d hate to be a border agent.
“That should be the adObama doesnt care about hispanic lives-only hispanic votes.”
Yes, and Romney should say it. Then he should say, “My fellow Americans, I’m not running for this office to be a full time campaigner. I’m running to fix the mess of the last politicians who cared more about running for a second term than he cared about 47%, hell 100% of the American People. And to prove it, I will only serve one 4 year term, because unlike Obama, I CAN improve our situation, and yours in 4 years, and I won’t spend time playing politics for another term. “
It’s the only way he’s going to win.
