mrs p6s' brother, the one who was having a cancer scare, is helping me so it's not too bad. Today's fun and adventure is putting the electrics back in then it's on to replacing the brake lines...sigh.
The only downside is that BIL can't stand right wing radio! When he's here there's no Rush, no Hannity, no Fox news just to keep peace. Yesterday it was Pawn Stars all day long!
Oh and Honey Boo Boo's family has been given a raise along with another season! IIRC they get $15k per episode. The channel offered to get them a new home but Mama June said NO because she likes to decorate the house they have for Christmas.
I am marginally following the polls. I’m told they are pretty much like the polls during the Carter/Reagan election - and we all know how THAT turned out! I’m optimistic - sometimes - and then doubtful at other times. I only know that I can’t wait to vote. Also, yesterday I got a call from our GOP headquarters for Tom Smith signs. They ran out of them pretty quickly - that’s a really good sign!
I just had our vehicle in the shop yesterday. Sensor was picking up fumes so we had to have stuff replaced. Don’t ask me what. I just know it’s fixed and the check engine light isn’t on anymore! Mr S has a dr appt at UPMC Shadyside today and didn’t want to take the vehicle without getting it checked.
Too bad about your BIL. He might learn something if he heard the talk shows. We had a co-worker like that once. He was downright angry at the sound of Rush’s voice! Go figure!
I plan on never watching the Boo Boo kid! :-)
Jim must be getting old...he was confused about the date of the debate and thought it was tonight.
He also mentioned the polls tightening and how most BO voters don’t have a clue of what he is really about, his background or agenda.
He’s also talking about proposed gun control in Chicago...WOW...382 deaths there so far this year!
I’ll give him the benefit of doubt on the debate. I hope he’s taking thecoconut oil he talks about. We need his and every other conservative voice on the radio and tv!
BTW listening to WPGB going to work last night the guy who replaced Jerry Doyle (who is replacing Savage) wasn’t very good. Can’t recall his name but he sounded very young and there were two other co-hosts.
Not one of them had a passion for the country defeating BO.
The Jerry Doyle...I’m not a fan of his. He’s OK but very irritating to listen to. Sounds like a RINO most of the time.
I hope that doesn’t mean WPGB is toning down their talk!
Yes, it sounds like they are weakening the lineup. I miss Savage, I really like Levin. I wish we’d get him in our area. I always download the podcast. I’ve heard Jerry Doyle. Don’t care for him. The younger hosts tend to be silly. I can’t stand the silly banter. Well, I like Beck and Stew.....

I have been able to listen to Q/R on the way to daughter’s house and the. I miss a bunch til grandbaby goes down for her first nap.
I too listened last night (expecting Savage—who I really enjoy—and there is a real time thread here on FR) to Doyle. I don’t like him...maybe he will grow on me on—but I really looked forward to Dr. S on my ten hour work shifts. Sigh.
Jim talking about Braddock right now—the lib mayor there puts up “wanted” posters on Romney!?! How about “wanted” posters on the gangbangers? Or the drug dealers...but THAT is what they rally against!?! I guess they organized the event using ObamaPhones.
What are their hours? I could use a Romney/Ryan sign.
