The way I read it is he’s not going to make impulse decisions
before creating a plan to deal with the issue.

Respect and honor? how about his statement that his sons were also SERVING THE COUNTRY by campaigning for him. Shows his total disregard for military and their families.

Good call. He can institute another plan to deal with them that is based in law. Obama can’t legally do what he is doing, anyway. Reuters-Yahoo are playing us

A president Romney will change little or nothing of what he inherits from the kenyan. He may obtaina veto of Obamacare but it will turn out to be a mere renaming of it as "Romneycare.

The presidency is now irretrievably endowed with near absolute power. Romney will think well he will use it for "good" but the problem is the existence of the power. Nothing good can come of it.

Do you trust BO on anything? At least with Romney you have someone who is intelligent and can get this country moving economically again. With BO we will have soup lines.

I really don’t trust Romney on this issue of illegals/amnesty. Don’t really trust him on the matter of gay marriage and the gay agenda, either. And have serious doubts about him genuinely working to overturn Obamacare.

The Romneybots have conveniently chosen to forget (as usual) that Romney (at least) once employed an illegal alien as I seem to recall and only reluctantly fired him/her prior to the last time he ran for President. And that was only after it was revealed by the MSM and he was called out on it because he was trying to portray himself as being tough on the illegal alien issue. So typical of the Romney we have all come to know and love

Maybe Romney really wants to re-employ the illegal in question. Hmmmm.....

Didn’t Romney take a different view on this when Rick Perry endorsed his state’s DREAM act?

Bypassing Congress with the near active consent of McC of KY and Boehner of OH, two failed Republican “leaders” if there ever were.

I don't know.

Why should an EX-president's actions NOT be overturned?

After all; consider what THIS big shot in American politics said...

In conclusion let us summarize this grand key, these “Fourteen Fundamentals in Following the Prophet”, for our salvation depends on them.

1. The prophet is the only man who speaks for the Lord in everything.
2. The living prophet is more vital to us than the standard works.
3. The living prophet is more important to us than a dead prophet.
4. The prophet will never lead the church astray.
5. The prophet is not required to have any particular earthly training or credentials to speak on any subject or act on any matter at any time.
6. The prophet does not have to say “Thus Saith the Lord,” to give us scripture.
7. The prophet tells us what we need to know, not always what we want to know.
8. The prophet is not limited by men’s reasoning.
9. The prophet can receive revelation on any matter, temporal or spiritual.
10. The prophet may advise on civic matters.
11. The two groups who have the greatest difficulty in following the prophet are the proud who are learned and the proud who are rich.
12. The prophet will not necessarily be popular with the world or the worldly.
13. The prophet and his counselors make up the First Presidency—the highest quorum in the Church.
14. The prophet and the presidency—the living prophet and the First Presidency—follow them and be blessed—reject them and suffer.

I testify that these fourteen fundamentals in following the living prophet are true. If we want to know how well we stand with the Lord then let us ask ourselves how well we stand with His mortal captain—how close do our lives harmonize with the Lord’s anointed—the living Prophet—President of the Church, and with the Quorum of the First Presidency.

Ezra Taft Benson

2 Chronicles 7:14

If my people, who are called by my name,
shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face,
and turn from their wicked ways; ,

then will I hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

I knew adding Ryan to the ticket was just throwing us conservatives a bone. Romney is nothing more than Obama light. 1/3 less liberal than our regular POTUS.

Can this man go more than a day without a gaffe?

At this point nothing reported about Romney will keep me from crawling to the polls over broken glass if necessary to vote against Obama.

I hope that at least 51% of American voters feel the same way!

I wonder who the Dems will run in '16; so the Nation can vote AGAINST Romney?

Let's all hope this is an issue on January 21st!

Not to worry; for I've been assured, right here on FFR, that there is a squad of FootHolders ready to be called into service.

I didn't mean to imply that your were baiting anyone, I meant Romney was being baited by the question asked.

What?

Has he forgotten the lessons learned before being a missionary to France??
