All Mitt has to do is use his opening statement to say this:
"I will repeal Obamacare and roll back all of Obama's massive tax increases over the past four years. Now, I yield the rest of my time to the Muslim man from Kenya."
Romney then walks off the stage and lets the MSM and O-ZERO with their mouths hanging open. The next day, Romney will be up by 10 points.
Does mean that you are taking bets that he will not say any of that?
The room will be stacked with Nobama supporters—probably paid by the SEIU. It will be a farce; however, it’s the only way to get Romney’s face out there. He needs to talk for as long as he can—but he must have plans.
One can dream, eh?
Good to see that there are still dreamers here in Freeperville.
LOL :)
Romney doesn’t have the balls. He thinks Obama is a nice guy.
And you can forget about Obamacare being repealed. Modified, perhaps, but not repealed.
mitt would be wise to also discuss the erosion of the dollar caused by the inept policies of this administration and the effect it has on all citizens. Anyone that shops for food, gas, clothes, etc will be able to relate to this.
I agree 100% but the problem is that Romney has already said that he will NOT repeal Obamacare in it’s entirety. In fact, he has said that there are things about Obamacare he likes.
Among Freepers. Among the rest of the electorate Obama would be up by 20 points as they would see him as more immature than Obama.
I more expect Romney will start out praising Obama for being a good family man who has good intentions and who tried the best he could. THink a black Ingalls family Little House on the Prairie, (getting teary eyed now) but it just didnt work out.
Then Obama will say that Romney is a rich spoiled elitist who got rich laying off parents of sick hungry school-kids and who dispises the American people, unless they earn billions of dollars and look for loopholes in their taxes like hiding them in those Islands.(getting hopping mad now)
Then Romney will say that proof of his compassion is Romney-care.
Why would Romney change his ‘winning’ strategy now ?
Hopefully MR has a better plan than that. But that could happen.
Interesting literary connection you make there with LHotP — extending that thought a bit for the Obama version: Mary still goes blind but the state school doesn’t meet ObamaCare standards so it was closed in favor of a promised federal solution that never happens.
I would like to hear Romney promise, on inauguration day, before he gives his speech, he signs, at the podium, an Executive Order rescinding all EOs since 20 Jan., 2009, immediately, and, all since Jan. 1912 in six months.
I dont picture Mitts coming up with anything that creative. Maybe he will say that under Mitt-care the treatment would be there where-as it is held up waiting for red tape with O-care. He might say that obama took his great idea and made a mess of it, so he should be elected to fix it. Dr Romney.
Which you votin for ?: O-care or Mitt-care? You have to choose NOW, electric shock.
Just a side joke. Pay no mind, play thread.
Romney doesn’t want to end it, he wants to “mend it” and turn it into RomneyCare
he might want to mention that the economy is much worse now than in 2008 and skyrocketing prices and falling incomes.
Ah....dreams!
I’d be happy if he would fire all the czars. I doubt that will happen.
“Now, I yield the rest of my time to the Muslim communist from Kenya.” There, fixed it.
” I more expect Romney will start out praising Obama for being a good family man who has good intentions and who tried the best he could.”
If Romney pulls a “McCain” he’s finished.
Add EO stating every law passed with his signature, every administrative ruling - every page of the federal register dated later than 1 Jan 2009 be declared null and void.
