When Errol Emrich drove by a Shell station in his San Jose neighborhood last weekend, regular gas was selling for $4.05 a gallon. On Monday, it was $4.15. On Tuesday, $4.25. And this weekend? Analysts say it could reach a whopping $4.40. Problems at California refineries have slashed supplies across the state, cutting fuel production and raising wholesale prices -- the price stations pay for their gasoline -- by as much as 73 cents, to levels not seen since 2007.

I’m sure Obama will fix it.
“refinery problems” again? how convenient.
Bush’s fault. We’d all be using solar cells by now if it hadn’t been for him.
4.14 a gallon for me here in Idaho.
Remember when gas prices were a nightly lead news story? Remember when the president was on the spot about what he’d do about it?
Now? Crickets from the MSM.
Wind must have slowed down in the Altamont Pass.
Already $4.39 a gallon for regular at my station next to LAX. I suppose it’ll be $4.50+ by the weekend.
And I run a trucking/freight business too...
Price of oil per barrel is plummeting....4% today alone. Now well below $90 a barrel. It was almost $100 two weeks ago. http://www.bloomberg.com/energy/
3.49 in Columbia, MO
Wouldn’t it be great if Californians were paying $10 a gallon on November 6th?
Only if the pussy Pubbies run an ad repeating Hussein saying that he expected 7.00 gas. Anyone have that clip?
It’s the October Surprise just for people in California.
If they think it is high now, just wait until 2013 and new law kicks in. Of course, there is no shortage of people screaming about high oil company profits. Maybe they just need to spend a bizillion extra dollars they don’t have on more trains so they can eliminate their cars. Or just mandate that everyone ride a bike to work.
I'm sure it has nothing to do, what-so-ever, with the drop in the value of the dollar that followed the announcement of QE3.
“California faces significant obstacles in complying with a 2008 state law aimed at reducing passenger vehicle usage, according to a report by the nonpartisan Public Policy Institute of California.”
“The law encourages an integrated approach to reducing emissions changing land use patterns to reduce the need to drive, investing in mass transit and other alternatives to driving, and increasing the cost of driving and parking to encourage the use of these alternatives.”
Those prices in Kalifornistan aren’t too bad when compared to other socialist countries.

More would be better, since they’ll vote ‘Rat no matter what.
PelosiCo ensures that CA pays the highest possible gas tax PER PRICE, rather than per volume. More revenue for CA — Likey likey!
Take your Obama phone and shut up. Why would want to drive with all the public transportation?

Well thanks guys. Believe it or not, although outnumbered, there are a lot of conservatives here in California.
