I recently had the the opportunity to talk with Ted Nugent about gun rights, liberty, and the dangers liberalism poses for America.
Throughout the course of the interview Nugent repeatedly stressed the absolute necessity of electing Romney/Ryan in 2012 and indicated that we can just look around to us see what terrible results President Barack Obama's policies have had on our nation.
Obama and his cohorts are doing to us what other liberals have done to places like Detroit, where a once thriving city has been gutted from within by "liberals [who] train people to be dependent, to be slaves, and to be blindly obedient" to the freedom-crushing structure of liberalism, he says.
I asked the man known to many as Uncle Ted to explain specifically the crossroads America faces in this November's presidential election. Here's his answer: Barack Obama hates America. Barack Obama hates freedom. Barack Obama's voting record, his upbringing, his education, his words, his actions, his misdeeds, all reek of everything anti-American, anti-Constitution, anti-Bill of Rights. The latter of which is most deviously manifested in his voting record against the individual right to keep and bear arms. During his political career in Illinois he voted against the Second Amendment 100 percent of the time.
America faces doom if we re-elect Barack Obama to the presidency. It is a dire, dangerous forecast for freedom.

Barring a major economic collapse, I respectfully doubt that there will be a revolution much less a serious protest. Americans are too preoccupied with their own comforts to get up off the couch and do anything about it. They may gripe and complain for a moment but then its back to TV, pizza, sports and video games. Even the Tea Party has fallen flat.
I’m not gonna find fault with anything anyone says that might sway one vote against the communist SOB who purposely trying to bury my country.
I understand your feeling that way, skeeter. I am going to give Americans more credit and hope substance carries more weight than nasty sarcasm someone else wrote for them to say. I can hope, can’t I?
I’m self employed and if he’s re-elected we’re selling. If not we are expanding. Employees, buildings and $$$ paid in taxes will triple. Growth will turn this around as well as the gutting of wastefull spending.
We must then target that spending and the parasites that lobby congress for “our” money.
Nugent sounds desperate like this is our last chance.
I think I believe him.

Boycott the regime and anything that it’s had a hand in.
Wrong Ted! USA isn’t done—the US Government is transformed into an agency of one Progressive vision. The People may have to demand change though the states—maybe we need to “Make new Government” with Session and a new CSA = Constitutional States of America. Go back to the roots—10th Amendment time. New Capital—Maybe in Texas. CW II —let the old Corrupt Union keep the Obama Flag— We could use the Rattlesnake! Then we will need you Ted to help in the fight for our freedom. New York and California need not apply to the CSA.
I've seen this other places on FR.
Texas has more people on MEDICAID than Iowa, Arkansas, or Mississippi has PEOPLE.
Where do you send them to?
The rest of the (formerly) civilized world will quickly come to realize how good they had it with the benign giant that they so loved to kick around suddenly turned totalitarian.
